Your eyes meet across the room and in a instant the attraction is so sizzling you immediately know there is no way going to bed alone is going to happen.

But the explosive night that follows can get you into more trouble then just getting pregnant. What on earth you may ask could be more serious and life altering that?

The fact that the father of your baby has figured out who you really are, and is torn between upholding his duty to his country and the commitment to his unborn child.

From that alone you can tell this is one totally, amazing read and from page one right through till the end I was captivated, entranced and completely in love with the characters.

The read tells of Sheikh Shaheen Aal Shalaan, he sees Johara across the room and instant attraction flares, but when morning comes and he discovers she is no one other than his childhood friend he is understandably in shock and furious!

But the real shocker comes when he leans of her expecting his child and the very real reality that he might need to let her and the baby go in order to appease his tradition.

The character of Shaheen was remarkably well written, I fell head over heals in love with him but he also made me cry. I felt so sorry for him having to face his duties and try to fight the battle of falling for the wrong woman. It reminded me that life is never easy but for others life is so much harder because of the responsibilities they have.

Jorhara was a character that totally blew my mind. She knows what she wants and she goes after it but afterwards as with many of us it comes down to “ this was a great plan but now the results are not quite what they were meant to be and now? What do I do now?”.

This link to reality was superb and I adore the author for showing that sometimes no all our plans are meant to be carried out.

I recommend this read for all fans of Olivia Gates books, she writes strong and emotionally packed reads with to die for characters and gorgeous settings!

“ He needs to chose between his duty and love”

Finally, a love story about a man who knows how to treat a woman!

If you like a really well-written (the way love stories should be written) romantic novel, do I have good news for you. The book: "To Tame a Sheikh" by Olivia Gates won't disappoint. It's a love story you'll want to read over and over again and you'll feel it was time well spent. It has drama and examples of real love - from a real man to a real heroine. It's Olivia Gates' best work so far (and Mrs. Gates has written some really great books!)
Thank you Mrs. Gates for entertaining us and we look forward to even more love stories in the future (if you have the time - I hope, I hope, I hope! :)

Love love LOVE this book! You must read it now!

If you want to read a story of true love, belief, and enduring passion - this is the one for you. Shaheen prince of Zohayd sees a woman across a crowded room and all though of duty and arranged marriages fly from his thoughts as he sees the woman who completes him - his heart, his soul mate his everything. Johara has loved him since she was a child and lived in the royal palace where her father was the keeper of the royal jewels and wanted to see Shaheen once more before he marries for poilitical reasons but that is not to be. Passion is immediate and the love scenes are both intense and gentle and totally beliveable. When the chance comes for the Big Misunderstanding Olivia Gates goes against the normal and doesn't take it! Our hero believes in our heroine to the last drop of his blood. He will do anything for her - one of my favourite lines is ''He took her from gravity as he wished to from everything that caused her worry' How romantic! Can't wait for the stories of the other brothers Herres and Amjad!

Heart melting romance at its best!

Johara Nazaryan, daughter of the kingdom's royal jeweler, has loved Prince Shaheen Aal Shalaan from afar for many years. He saved her life when she was a little girl; and, as her brother's best friend, he became like a magnificent god in her adoring eyes. When a fierce argument destroyed the friendship between Shaheen and her brother, she was no longer allowed in the prince's golden sphere. Now so many years later, she's come to see him, to talk to him, one last time before he weds another in a marriage of state. Shaheen is everything she remembered him to be and more. Of course, she isn't too terribly surprised when he doesn't recognize her, but she is stunned when he makes it clear he wants her in his bed! Will Shaheen's duty to his kingdom, along with the brewing scandal surrounding the Pride of Zohayd jewels, destroy them? Olivia Gates portrays Johara and Shaheen with vibrantly hued brushstrokes, allowing her readers to first glimpse and then fully comprehend the couple's greatest hopes and fears. She has crafted a fully-formed world and populated it with vital, emotive characters. Readers will be held in awe of Shaheen's staunch devotion to Johara, and likewise her fierce, unwavering love for the man she has always loved but never thought to call her own.
