I had never read a menage book before a few years ago when I accidently picked up Alexandra O'Hurley's Berserker Mate's Trilogy. I think you could sum my first expression with menage erotica could be classified as delicious. I really didn't know what to do after I read it because at the time I didn't even want anyone to know I had read such a book. What would people say if they knew I'd not only read a kinky book but that I liked it too? Well, you know what? Years and hundreds of kinky books later, it doesn't matter. I've embraced my inner kink and love menage books and I have a thing for bondage and D/s that I happily own. Mom, these are things I don't want to talk to you about but I'm okay with you hearing. Where am I going with all this? Well, I am building up to saying that Jennifer Kacey's Member's Only series is a series that is definitely on my menu. I think it's under the, "Tasty, Mmmm... Mmmm... Good" section too.
Chris and Jared are twins and have been friends of Cyn's since they were all developing the parts that would one day interlock to make the best of fun, sexy times. Unknown to all of them they were all thinking of interlocking those parts into a puzzle of moaning, groaning, sweaty, joy since those parts started making them yearn for completion. When the guys go intelligence gathering and uncover Cyn's diary and find that she has been having a yen for being the creamy center in their Double-Stuff Oreo, these men of action finally act. Let me tell you, these men of action are the sort of action figures that come with the best "give-me-more" accessories. My Star Wars Boba Fett never had ropes or wipes like Master J and Master C have. Effin' useless bounty hunter to play the game of hide and seek with if he can't restrain or discipline once he gets his Han S0lo.

The heat rating on this book is many kitties hot. Jennifer Kacey is not at all afraid of setting pages on fire and making readers burn. I enjoy the fact that she does allow for Cyn to admit that she has always wanted both brothers and that she was made to feel shame because it was obvious to others. She also makes no bones of putting it out there that the boys have always felt some ownership for her and that even were they not to have found the book that there is an evitability in regard to the relationship with the three of them. It gives the relationship a great deal of depth and pulls the book out of that place where you are looking at something that is pure smut. This isn't solely bow-chicka-wow-wow, there is substance and there is a relationship. And then there is a crap ton of very explicit and dirty, kinky, fun times, with toys, kissing, voyeurism, power exchange, sexual exploration and plain old crack that ass and like it!

So, where is there something amiss? There is something I find a lot in  reading for reviews and beta reading that I like to call Body Placement Query or, "Is that his dick in her ear or her elbow in his ass, the author wasn't very clear about it". Generally what causes this is a few things, the author is into the scene and while they are writing it they know what they are meaning it to say so they can't see what they are actually drawing for their reader. Their editor isn't so great at reading the writer's sex scenes and skims through them and never catches these parts. Or they feel uncomfortable calling attention to these parts. That is your job editors and that is a real crap insult to the author. Shame on editors for disrespecting the writing and work an author does by not giving a good eyeball to what they are editing. And if you have beta readers they are more interested in telling you what you want to hear than helping you be a better writer. I don't know what was happening with this book and which of the above was a situation or if there was something else in play but Jennifer has a higher than normal amount of body placement queries. I do think some of it could be because in some scenes there is just a chaotic amount of things going on with hands, mouths, holes, body parts, several partners and sometimes accoutrements involved at once. I found myself having to stop and go back a page and read over what I had just read to try to cypher if she was already being screwed, if she was asking to be screwed, or if she was being told she was going to be screwed. That is like getting ready to do the deed and your partner stops to say, tell me the laws of thermodynamics. If you have to stop and wonder what the hell is going on it ruins the moment.

I think this is a great introduction to what promises to be a great sex club series. All the secondary characters introduced are very engaging and the breadcrumbs leading to back stories are more than enough to have you wanting to know what will happen with Nick or Jenna at some point in the future. If you like The Wicked Lovers Series by Shayla Black or Masters of Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair this book should be your next martini. I give Together in Cyn 4.5 stars overall.
This book may sound like the same old story, bringing an inexperienced girl in the BDSM lifestyle, but you would be wrong.
The idea that Jared & Chris have been her lifeline for so long, that she has fantasized about both of them for years and gone as far as to write it down in a diary, a diary that Jared accidentally picks takes home to read was a new twist for me and added to the story as the diary is a major player in the book.
The brothers had no idea Cyn wanted to submit to them as much as they desire her submission.
But there's something missing from Cyn's diary, something the brothers know nothing about.
Chris is hiding something as well, from both his brother and Cyn. And as we all know, a BDSM relationship cannot work without complete honesty and trust.
I don't do spoilers so I can't tell you too much about this book other than read it!! It's a twist from the norm, not a cookie cutter story here!

Imagine spending half of your life, longing, for the other half

Imagine spending half of your life, longing, for the other half of your heart and soul. Cyn is a wounded girl, frightened by the dark desires that have haunted her since she was a teenager and damaged by the parents who abandoned her.  Cyn’s attempt to explore these desires ended badly and she has been scared ever since.  Her fear doesn’t stop the fantasies that live on if only in her diary, fantasies that involve her two best friends.  How could she ever choose one?

Chris and Jared Kennedy are fraternal twins from the right side of town but nothing alike. Jared is light and fun loving while Chris is dark and brooding. They have been best friends with Cyn since they were kids. After high school, they just up and join the military without telling anyone, even Cyn.  Now back from the military, the brothers have set their sights on Cyn.

After accidentally reading Cyn’s diary, Chris and Jared discover that Cyn isn’t as sweet and fragile as they once thought.  Their Cyn longs to submit. She craves the touch and command of Chris and Jared.  Lucky for Cyn, her best friends are also known as Master C and Master J.  With a little encouragement, can these two Masters help Cyn live out all of her fantasies?

Together In Cyn, book one of the Members Only series by Jennifer Kacey is filled with hot steamy sex scenes, MFM ménage and a sprinkling of bondage and discipline to keep things interesting.  This love story is laced with tragedy, which highlights the importance of BDSM being safe, sane and consensual.

A great friends to lovers story, the title alone gives insight into this great ménage story. Cyn has fantasized about the twins but never considered actually being with them. I enjoyed their time in their club especially the dress up room.

I really liked Cyn, she was a great character and this book spotlighted her perfectly. Both Jared and Chris had their own issues that made them very realistic, and I enjoyed watching them all become a strong and happy ménage.

There is an awesome sub plot that added some extra depths to this story. There are a ton of spicy scenes and they were well spaced out. I highly recommend this to fans of BDSM and ménage romance a like.

4 out of 5 for this reader folks!

Man oh MAN .. that was one hot read! I am surprised my e-reader didn't explode! LOL

Cyn is our leading lady. She has been seriously lusting after her two best friends Chris and Jared for quite some time. So long in fact that she has taken to writing out her fantasies in her diary. But she fears that these two hotties only regard her as their little sister like friend that they need to protect. HAH! Little does she know!

Chris and Jared (twins) do have a protective streak with regards to Cyn but it's not coming form a big brother like place. They have wanted her for a long time and have been waiting for her to exhibit signs that she is ready and wants them too. Reading her diary has done just that.

Quick and sure, these two set upon a serious naughty seduction of Cyn. They expose her to a lifestyle that they are committed to and show her the workings of their personally owned BDSM club. They tell her that they want her to be a part of this lifestyle with them and they want to have a menage relationship with her.

Cyn struggles with juggling two guys at once thinking only black and white. Chris and Jared show her the shades of grey are try to get her to admit that it's appealing and worthwhile!

Of course, every smutty read had to have that element of danger (at least the smutty books I like ..lol) A man from Cyn's past has set his eyes on her once again and places her in danger. Also, Cyn has to break through to one of the brothers who is holding back.

If she is going to live this way, she is going ALL IN!

HOT BOOK that has it all! Menage, BDSM, voyeurism a bit of girl on girl and male on male (no not the brothers .. ewwww ...lol) If you are into all that, you'll love this read! :)

    HAPPY READING! :)

    Together in Cyn. Jennifer Kacey.

Well, this book has it all, an erotic romance with what seems like a bit of everything, ménage, M/M, F/F, Doms and subs, spanking and bondage, voyeurism, in fact if its linked to sex it seems you'll find it here. There is a section with non consensual acts although it belongs in the story, and is a necessary part of the novel. Take note of the publishers warnings if things like this aren't for you, I hate it when readers complain later about a book where its clear the content is for those who want more than a tepid romance – and here you'll get much much more :)
Its a book with a sweet story on the face of it, Cyn has been friends with and relied on her two hot neighbours for ever it seems. But what the twins don't know until they come across her diary is that she's wanted more than friendship from them for a long time – and as it happens they both want more from her. Let the games commence. Unknown to Cyn they're owners of a BSDM members only select club, and so they're in a unique position to make her fantasies come true and they're both keen to get started!
Of course as the story unfolds we learn more, we see the reasons why Cyn is so repressive in her dating life, why she's ashamed of her fantasies, learn about what happened with her parents and why she was alone from such a young age, some secrets from the twins past slowly get revealed, and as they all get together with some very hot, sensual, erotic, sexy scenes the past starts to come into the present, and fears unfold and need to be faced or what's just started between them could all come toppling down.
Its a shortish book at just 157 pages for £2.87, but packs a complete story in there. Not just a few linked hot sex scenes. I guessed some of what had happened but not all, and that made for an interesting story as well as a hot read.
Stars: I tend to prefer longer books, and although this was a complete story and fun and hot to read it was over quickly for me. I did enjoy it but it didn't have quite enough to join my keepers file, I'm not entirely sure why though * shrug * it has all the elements but.. so a well deserved four but not quite a five.
