I sincerely encourage every follower of Christ to read this book.

It really is important to understand that the words we choose have an impact on our very lives. The Book of James tries to tell us. Sometimes, though, the language of the text in my KJB is hard to understand, maybe even boring. But Charles Capps makes it clear and you will never again forget the impact of 'idle words'. We are created in God's Image with the ability to SPEAK INTO EXISTENCE. No more evident is this than in the beginning when God Spoke and There Was. Jesus is the Word. I read this book first back in 1992. It has changed my life forever. It is easy to follow, easy to understand, and it will open your mind and your heart to the power of your words. It will set a defining line between blessing and cursing with our tongue and it will either condemn you or honor you by your choice. Make no mistake, this book HEALS and will set the soul free. But only if we choose to bridle our tongue. i found this book to be very foundational knowledge of the power of God thru us, created in his likeness. No other creature on earth has the ability to speak into existence. Bite your tongue; hold your tongue; watch your mouth: because it matters!
