Like an episode of TW! Without the BBCA edits!

Love the characterization in this tie-in novel, very nice foreshadow into the villains, very cool idea on the continuation of Bilis. Love that Ianto is on the cover which is always an added plus. I absolutely love that Ianto is given his own lines you can tell that this is a Season Two novel, but the style of the flashbacks is just wonderful. I really recommend this book for Janto lovers, Woodies who can't wait for the Radio Play, and those who don't know much about the show, it¿s a good standalone fic and a great tie-in for those of us who love Torchwood to death.

    A reviewer

Even if you're new to Torchwood, or still remember Doctor Who from the old plaster sets and rubber-suited monster days you will enjoy this series of spin-off titles from the brilliant BBC series. The writers are very good, some of them have worked for Russel Davies before, and the stories stay in 'Cannon' with the plots of the show. This particular title will be a hit with fans of Jack and Ianto, and the mysterious and sinister Mister Bilis. The books are rare in the USA and sure to go up in value.

This was the 1st Torchwood novel I read and I enjoyed it.  I bought it because Bilis Manger appears, and it was definitely an entertaining story.

Some of the Gwen's behavior had me a skeptical, but overall the characters were well-written.

    Well-written

Comparing this book to Torchwood:Pack Animals, I think this is well-written. It feels connected with a better storyline. It has humor too, so it definitely sounds like an episode off of the t.v. series. I highly recommend this book.

    Creepy and fun

As much fun as the TV version of Torchwood. The return of the always-creepy Bilis Manger. I'm already reading it for the second time!
