    A reviewer

This book is my favorite on OCD. It has all the scientific findings that many other books on the subject deal with. What really makes it stand above the other books I've read is the author is so empathetic and kind. (The author reveals he too has dealt with his own obsessional thoughts.) It felt like a really good friend was explaining OCD in a really hopeful, constructive manner. I would highly recommend it. It was a real Godsend. I never write reviews but I really wanted to write one for this author out of appreciation for all the tremendous help from his book.

An excellent overview for anyone about OCD

This is an excellent overview on what OCD is, treatment options available, and coping strategies for living with OCD. It has helped me tremendously and I would recommend this to anyone who is dealing with OCD personally, and also for friends and family members to help them understand what it's like to live with OCD and how it affects their loved one.

    I'm not alone

My obsessive compulsive disorder involves tormenting thoughts. I felt isolated and afraid to share my feelings with anyone around me until I read Tormenting Thoughts and Secret Rituals: The hidden Epidemic of Obsessive-compulsive Disorder. This book helped me out of the closet and helped me get my life back.

    Wonderful

This book is the most helpful and informative book I have read yet. I recommend this to everyone that has OCD, or anyone who would like a better understanding of OCD.
