Just finished the book and have pages of notes of products I would like to try. I enjoyed the book until the end where I found out she had a facelift. (reason for only 3 stars) this to me puts her in the category of the stars she dissed! Taking care of skin that has been "altered" is an entirely different ball game than for those of us who are working with our natural selves! I have so far only tried one thing she suggested and that was lipstick suggestion for my skin shade. Everyone including myself thought it did nothing for me, washed me out! The yellow tone foundation aged me. Went back to my pink undertone foundation and got compliments. One size does not fit all. Although I did find going a bit darker than what I used years ago is better. However I got this advice at a beauty counter long before he book came out!
I intend to try some of the less expensive drugstore products before I invest in the more expensive ones! I think most of know there are no magic bullet skin care products out there that are magic bullets or fountains of youth but there are some that help us keep our skin from aging more. Good book and hopefully some good products mentioned. Also gives good insight on how the cosmetic/skincare world works.

    5 Stars x 2

I threw out 98 % of my vanity drawers contents. I had stuff in there that was at the oldest 15 years & at the newest 2 years. This is a must read for any lady 50+ who still wears make-up. A great reference guide to looking beautiful, not made up.

Good tips, but incomplete. To look young, women should also skip wearing panties. Women look very young and vibrant when they show their bare private parts. (It drives men mad, too) And, please, no shaving Miss MILF. Natural is the best. Take it from me!
