    Twice The Danger!

DV Berkom has done it again. I feel as though Kate Jones is a friend I need to look out for, but she does a great job of getting out of her own snares. Although Kate has had a reprieve for a few years from the perilous life she is destined to live because of her past, she soon finds out that the past she has been running from has once again found her. Ms. Berkom fuels our addiction to her adventurous tales this time, however, by offering not one, but two distinctly different, but equally deadly villains with plots that will surely cause an untimely end to the life Kate has come to love, if she is not able to thwart them first. A ride on the proverbial edge of your seat, Kate must fight like never before to survive. But there is still time for Kate to experience the passions we all know she possesses, when a new and alluring character, Cole, a man in law enforcement who not only possesses a rugged exterior, but a tender side as well, is introduced. You will find yourself falling over the edge right along with Kate. Kate is forced to once again confide in someone she cares about, hoping all the while that she is not putting him and his family, for he has two young daughters, in danger. Ms. Berkom leaves us wondering if Kate will stay in Arizona for a while, basking in the love Cole has to offer her, or if she will once again move on, roaming the world looking for a place safe from the far reaches of Salazar and his army of thugs, turned bounty hunters, who will stop at nothing to collect the reward on Kate's head. Filled with action, adventure, suspense like you've never known, and a bit of romance, Touring for Death alludes to what the pages hold, but it is much more and definitely worth the read.

This is the third of three on Kate; I liked it very much. Looking forward to a follow up to see what Kate does next! WHEN CAN WE EXPECT IT?

    How Safe is Safe?

After spending five peaceful years as a tour guide in a small Arizona town, Kate is finally feeling comfortable and safe. Why her tourist clients suddenly start turning up dead is a shock and a new and complete mystery to her. In the past, she knew the danger that surrounded her came from her Mexican ex-drug lord former lover. This time she has no idea who's behind the murders. The only upside to the strange happenings is it brings her into close contact with the handsome and recently divorced town sheriff, Cole.
Her life becomes even more complicated when a spurned admirer, who she never realized was interested slips a "roofie" into her drink and hands her over to the corrupt DEA agent she testified against ten years earlier. After a harrowing escape, she's still left confused. She understands why the former DEA agent wanted her dead. The spurned admirer told her why he wanted revenge. The question that remains for her and Cole: Who's killing her clients?
A fast paced, clever story and a must for Kate Jones adventure fans.
