Excellent - but buggy
I have been looking for a Dragonville style game, and this is perfect. Easy to get started, very addictive, and just challenging enough to keep my interest yet not frustrating. However, the game has quite a few bugs that I hope will be worked out in an update soon. When I try to start one of my two saved games, it always starts the other one. A second try opens the correct game. Sometimes when I click on the building icon nothing happens; saved games take a long time to load; the touch feature is very, well, touchy (e.g. when building paths). Despite the bugs I still look forward to playing the game, and still feel it deserves 5 stars because the game is so new that I would expect some bugs.

    Not so good

Layout and game play similar to Caesar or Age of Empires (without military battles) --- Cute.

However, the game lags badly when moving from one area of the map to another - difficult and frustrating. It also crashes frequently and forces a close. Not recommended.

    Why this game stinks.

This game srinks because if you tear down too many buildings then the game freezes up, second of all if you insta-build too many things it freezes and lastly my townies arebflat out stubborn and the decoration bar will not go more than halfway up.

    Not for the NookColor

I played this game on my phone and thought it would be more fun on a larger screen (NookColor). The graphics are great but trying to play the game is an exercise in futility. There is a long delay between touching/sliding the screen and when the image actually moves. When the game map does move, it moves too fast and too far. Touching a command icon involves such a long delay that I would touch the icon a second time thinking that it didn't work the first time; but of course it did, and then the two commands would be implemented with undesired results. It's safe to assume that the NookColor does not have the CPU power to handle this game and its beautiful graphics.
