    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THIS CD ISN'T WORTH 14.95!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok. I went to Ozzfest 99 just to see system but they weren't there. That sucked cause the first album was the SHIZNIT! Toxicity isn't anywhere near the self titled debut. The creative process was skipped almost all together, and replaced with heavy drugs and some musical instruments. I love S.O.D. and will love the band and their music untill I die but toxicity will probably stay at the bottom of my all time favorites. There are only a few tracks on the new album that compare to anything off of System Of A Down (first release) and two of them have worn out their welcome by radio stations playing them every two minutes (chop suey and toxicity) There are a few that are different from anything on the debut album but are still O.K. but far from great. Then you get to track 7 (bounce) which is a song about going on a date and taking a pogo stick and another is about a tapeworm (the chorus being ''Pull the tapeworm outta your A**). And lets not forget Shimmy which is basically ranting and raving about being late for school (may I have a flashback real quick? ''I missed the bus, I missed the bus''Kriss Kross!) and wanting to ''shimmy shimmy shimmy till the break of dawn'' That being said my recommendation is to borrow the cd and try it out. There are also some record stores that will allow you to listen to the cd first. If your like me, you'll grab a song list and the newest version of kazaa or morpheus and download the tracks and burn to a cd. It's free and once the songs become more of a challenge to make it all the way through (a few will do this after one playing!), then you have a nice little frisbee for free as well! To those of you who this review helped, you can let me know. Send me an email. And for those of you who disagree, so be it!
