A Great Purchase

I love "A Christmas Story" and was very pleased with the game. Every aspect of a regular Monopoly game has been replaced with the corresponding event/object/person, etc... from the movie. From the gamepieces to the Chance and Community Chest cards and even the properties- everything was perfect. The game also triggered some nostalgic feelings about the movie and served as a catalyst for plenty of fun conversation. A great game to play, whether during the holidays or not.

LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!

The game is adorable, and stays true to the movie in ways that surprised and delighted me. My whole family...even the non game-players... got caught up in this version. I am considering buying another and keeping it in a safe place, just in case something happens to this one. For anyone who is hooked on the game of Monopoly to begin with, the Christmas Story adaptation of it will put you over the edge in joyous discovery with each card, property and game piece. Even the game board and box cover is adorable. For those who are not yet hooked into Monopoly, fear not, the Christmas Story incorporated into this game will make you a fan in the first 10 minutes. I love it.

Classic Movie -Classic Game

Can't go wrong with a great movie and a great game. Has quotes and pictures from the movie. the character pieces are great! Anyone who loves the movie will love this game.

A new Christmas tradition

My family loves board games, even now that both of my children are adults and live far from home. My son who is in the navy doesn't make it every Christmas but my daughter, so far, always has. She is big on traditions. We all love the movie A Christmas Story so I decided to purchase the monopoly version. It was an instant hit. We love the tokens and all the other references to the movie. It brought specific scenes to mind when we would get the equivalent to a "chance" or "community chest" card and we would laugh or recite memorable lines at that point ("you'll shoot your eye out" or "Ho, ho, ho" ). My daughter dubbed it a "new tradition".

A christmas story momopoly

My Sister Kay just loves that movie so I bought her and her husband to be the monopoly game for Christmas last year and was it a big hit. We played a very rousing game on Christmas eve and her and her family played it again on Christmas night and as far as I can tell they are still playing. I have to say it was one of the best gifts I have ever give anyone for Christmas or any other occassion, and no one shot their eye out.....

The old Monopoly and the old movie ,perfect combo for a fun night
