    Cranium Party Playoff Game

A pretty fun, fast paced game. This is not at all like the regular Cranium games. It is sort of a tournament style game where there are four categories. Before starting the game, tiles are drawn at random for each of the four categories, and placed on the board. Each player then makes secret predictions as to which tiles will end up as semifinalists and the winner. You also get to predict what tile any one player thinks will make it to the top. Then, you place your predictions in an envelope and the game begins. Players draw cards with a question like "What would be better to wear on your head?" and all players would have to argue/agree/disagree upon which of two competing tiles better answers the question. It could be something like "Eggs" vs. "Lawn chair" or "Mouse" vs. "Ice pick". Obviously, as a player, you want whatever you wrote on your secret prediction to come true. So, you do your best to try and convince the other players to vote for your answers and vice versa. The game has lots of tiles and the questions cards have (I think) 5 different questions on each card. So, you can play a lot of games without having to use the same tiles and questions cards. I like the game because it doesn't take nearly as long as the regular Cranium games and some of the tile/question combos can be pretty hilarious.

    Lots of Laughs

We got this as a dirty Santa gift and ended up playing it for hours afterward. We're contemplating buying a copy for ourselves now. With most board games, after you go through the deck of cards, the game is exhausted because everyone knows all the answers. Because of this game's set-up, you'll never find yourself in that situation. A mix & match of question pieces & opinion answers leaves you laughing as long as you're playing.
