The game is rigged. The game mechanic (a dial with a recessed plastic needle that picks up dog-eared pages from the book) is heavily biased towards the horse (first creature in the book), followed by successively diminished chances for each creature, with the last creature (turtle), having absolutely no chance of winning. Was this review helpful? I recognize that this game is not meant for adults, but I am forced to play this game whenever my daughter pulls it off the shelf. I won't lie - she is delighted by the horse winning; runs around exclaiming how wonderful life is for the horse token. For adults - you've been warned - this game is an exercise in precision tedium and and exasperation.
I wouldn't even donate this to the PTA to save any unfortunate souls the soured time this hell box gives while squeezing joy from life.
