Fun and Exciting Way to Practice Math
I bought this game to try with 6th grade students who need extra help in math, and they liked it so much I bought a second one to have enough for larger groups of kids. While buying and selling stocks, students must use multiplication tables up to the 6-times, and also get to practice addition and subtraction as they make change on their sales. Although it is billed as a 2-person game, it can also be a 3-player game with 2 opponents and 1 banker. I've also combined the 2 sets to expand the game for 3 or 4 opponents, which also allows for higher profits. Besides the practice with math facts, the game also encourages development of various strategies (planning several steps ahead, considering various outcomes of a move) that can be important in problem-solving.Was this review helpful? The cards are brightly colored and sized nicely for kids' hands. They're also sturdy enough that they have held up so far to quite a bit of handling without getting dog-eared. The rules are simple enough that students who have already played it once are then able to teach others. I've played it with students and have enjoyed it myself. I would highly recommend this game for family groups and school groups - it's a simple game that is simply fun for everyone!
Ka-Ching Card Game
We love the Gamewright games - my kids, myself and my husband. I get them at least 2 new games a year. We just got this one and it's a lot of fun. It's easy to learn and doesn't take long to play. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
