Didn't work when opened and not easy to get replaced!
Our 11 year-old son is a Lego fanatic so we were so excited to get this boombox and the blue clock radio that goes with it for him for Christmas. When he opened it on Christmas and the boombox LCD display and the CD player itself didn't work we were so disappointed! We called the support center as instructed the Monday after Christmas and we had to email them our electronic receipt of purchase along with some other info which we promptly did. It took them until today (more than a week) to get back to us that we would have to send the unit back to them for testing which would take an additional two weeks before a new unit would be sent out! It is very frustrating that our son will have to wait basically a month after Christmas is over to begin enjoying his gift. This company is not a very easy or customer-friendly company to work with and we aren't even sure if we will actually get a new unit or just the one we had "refurbished" and "repaired"(not what we want when we paid for "new")! I guess that's the downside to purchasing online rather than at a store where you can just take it back and get it replaced with a new one immediately.
