    Family Fun!

This board game is perfect for a family get together. Besides being fun, it is also educational, and children can learn about how to deal with money.

    It's a classic, alright!

Now THIS is a game. It doesn't matter if you're visiting relatives, hanging out with your friends, or looking for an activity to do with imediate family--this is the game EVERYONE has played at least once.

You know how it goes. A "banker" is chosen, the board is set up, and the correct amount of starting cash is handed out to each player. You argue over who plays as a a certain game token (isn't it usually the shoe or the hat?), and then you roll the dice to see who goes first.

You roll the dice, and land on a property, or sometimes you might land on "Chance" or Community Chest. Landing on the "Chance" or Community Chest" areas can be good or bad. You might get an award for winning a beauty contest, or you might have to pay for repairs to your property.

Speaking of property, once you get enough of the same types of property, that's when the fun really begins. Provided you have enough cash on your turn, you can purchase houses, then hotels. These purchases will increase the rent , which other players will have to pay when they land on your property. Be careful, though--they can do the same to you.

THAT'S what Monopoly is all abut: Getting as much property as you can, and bankrupting the other players. .....Oh, and spending time with friends & family, too.

Unlike computers, game consoles, cell phones, and other electronics, Monopoly will NEVER be obsolete.

If you don't have any version of this game, Go directly to jail, do not pass GO, do not collect $200.

Or you can just purchase the game and have hours and hours of fun.

Playing Monopoly is like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer

This game takes a month to play, a month of slow, grinding pain.
