Munchkin Quest is a blast for both seasoned Munchkin players and newbies alike. Like the original card game, Munchkin Quest is easy to learn and easy to become addicted to. Since this is a board game rather the standard Munchkin card game, there are new elements such as health tokens, a board to navigate, new cards, etc. which keeps things interesting. As usual there are plenty of opportunities to double-cross, bluff, and form alliances to help defeat both friends and foes. The board really brings an extra challenge to winning the game since once level 10 is reached a player must make their way back to the entrance of the dungeon and fight an automatic level 20 monster- this is fun because, unlike in traditional Munchkin, it gives the other players plenty of opportunities to try to help or hinder the level 10 player or even get to level 10 themselves. Overall, a great addition to any game collection or any Munchkin collection!
