Get ready to laugh!
This is a twist on a college drinking game (only without any alcohol)...and it's sure to keep you laughing. It has everything from wrapping your head in toilet paper to thumbmaster to creating your own poem about the person sitting next to you. My family loves to play games and this is one of our favorites. It is not intended for the reserved person...for it asks you to do many crazy and outgoing tasks. There are rule cards that get played occasionally. There are individual rules and group rules that must be followed for the remainder of the game. The more rules in play, the crazier the game becomes. (Sometimes we begin the game by dealing each person a rule card...just to make sure we have a good time.)

Hilarious game to play with family & friends!
My extended family gets together once a month for a game night. This month I bought Quelf. We laughed so hard while playing we all cried (sober adults ages 27 - 37). If you want a great party game, this is it! It is a game of completely random questions, activities, etc. Enjoy!

Fun and Unpredictable
This game is really a blast! I would have to say that it's probably more entertaining for adults than for kids. Unpredictable yet really, really fun, and a great way to bond with coworkers!

Crazy good fun!
Quelf is a wild and zany party game, it will break the ice and allow you to get to know each other in ways you'd never expect. You could be speaking like a pirate for the rest of the game, or sitting on someone's lap until your next turn, or maybe having to jump up and say "Pizza Party" every time the phone rings. You could also find yourself writing a little poem or opera or rap about yourself or another person. Overall, there is a category for every person's strengths, even trivia. It is a great way to laugh and make life-long friends, because you may have to make a pact not to reveal what happens on Quelf night.

HILARIOUS!
I randomly saw this game at a store, bought it and took it over to a friends house. We are all 21-27 year olds... AND WE HAD A BLAST! We were laughing so hard at all the rediculous crap we had to do. The game went on for about 2 hours, and we never tired of it. Like the box says it really does "Give Random A New Name." This will be one we will use for a long time whenever we get together.

Are you kidding?
I was looking for a fun game. This is just stupid. I found one twelve year old who liked for a while -and quickly became bored. It is stupid and boring and a waste of money.

This game is such a great game to play with friends and family. Adults or kids. Doesn't matter what the makeup of the group is, everyone will laugh until they are rolling. The game is a typical board game where the first person that gets to the last space wins, but you won't even care by the end you'll be laughing so hard! Great for the holidays as kids and adults can play together.

Random acts of silliness
The first thing I'll say about this game is: You must be willing to act very very silly to play this game. If you're not afraid of making a fool of yourself this game is for you! I don't mean that in a negative way. It's just you have to do some pretty strange things.
It's completely random. Sometimes you're answering questions, sometimes you're acting out. You are NEVER bored. You will be laughing so hard you won't be able to control the tears.
We played this at a family birthday party and laughed so hard we were crying. At one point my grandmother gets up from the table without saying a word and goes to the bathroom, the rest of us are baffled. She comes out of the bathroom with water dripping off her face singing a song. We just died laughing!!2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Great game!
This was a fantastic purchase! My friends and family all laughed and had a great time while playing Quelf because you never knew what was going to happen next. Sometimes we just play for a certain amount of time because it doesn't really matter who gets to the end first...it's just fun trying to get there.

silly - but brings gut laughs
I was talking like a pirate, my daughter was standing like an 'x', my friend was composing a poem about her armpits, another could not say move, but moo - You might be asked to dance, sing, draw, touch the ground - all in good fun, all making everyone laugh hard. Easy enough for 6 to 90 year olds, clever enough for the snobs. Lots of laughs. I have purchased two for friends so far besides the one for me. And we are planning monthly Quelf nights.

What a fun game!
When I bought this game my intention was to give it to my 9 year old son. The first time we played we could not stop laughing. We had the best time. Now we play this game with not only his friends but my frieds as well. The way the game is arrainged, all ages can play at the same time. My son's favorite part is standing up to announce "Courious, I thought farming was outlawed in that part of the country" when someone lands on a green space. Buy it, play it, try to stop laughing.

VERY FUNNY Game to Play with Friends/Family/Kids
This is a great game if you want to laugh, have a good time, and are not concerned with a "point" to the game. The only point is to have fun --and we have a blast every time we play. Extremely silly!!! You do have to do some silly things during the game, so if you're painfully shy or self-conscious you may have trouble; but so far everyone I know has enjoyed playing this game.

A Fabulous Family Game
We bought Quelf with Christmas money and played it for New Years and had a ball! It plays up to 8- takes about two hours to really get into it... depends on the roll of the dice! It's wacky- creative, hilarious and fun! It builds relationships by removing masks and pushing boundaries!! So very worth such a small price! Way better than Cranium and other like games!

So Much Fun
Our family is very much into games. I was having a hard time trying to decide which one to get next. They seem to have played all the "party" games out there. Christmas was a hit with this one. We laughed so hard and took so many pictures while playing the game. Everyone looked like a fool many times throughout the game. Very highly recommended.

You'll Laugh Yourself Into Tears
This board game is a rare gem. In fact, one play and people will be clammering to join in, wanting to know where you found it. The rules are simple... on your turn roll the die, move ahead that many spaces, draw the corresponding colored card, and do exactly what it says. It may be trivia, a catergory based recall game, acting, singing, dancing, a small harmless dare, or a new exciting rule. Complete the task or pay the penalty (moving back a prescribed number of spaces). Even better, get someone else to rip the card out of your hand and read it... they might be punished or rewarded. Some rules stick around. Some go away. You just NEVER know what's going to happen next. This game is classic.
Want to be really adventurous? Try playing Quelf in public. We played at a winery with friends... we had spectators... we had people joining in... we almost got kicked out! :o) You'll have a blast.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

OVER RATED
Maybe you have to be drunk to have fun with this game, but we tried it Christmas day and were very disappointed. It took too long, and was tedious. My son and his wife also bought it and were disappointed in it as well. Probably had too high of an expectation based on customer reviews of this product. We're going to try it again, but with a lower expectations.

It's true - lots of fun!
I was looking for a game to play with my adult children and friends and picked this one due to the rave reviews. Until we played I had my doubts, but when we did I was crying because I was laughing so hard. My daughter liked it so much she bought another one for her friend to have at college. Be sure to have a camera handy to capture all those potentially embarrassing moments!

Fun for older kids and adults if you keep it moving
Perfect for teen groups though we had to throw out some of the less appropriate cards (ie - pretend you are a showgirl...) By the end of the game, my daughter was wearing a tie, a kleenex turned into a bib, and had created a mask from household items which she had to make before it was her turn again, and then wear throughout the game. Another player had to end every sentence he said with "isl" and if one player laughed (which it is impossible not to do) he had to snort like a pig ... every time. The premise of the game is to complete tasks that are guaranteed to embarrass you, and if you can't or don't complete them, you move backwards. There are quiz questions which are intentionally next to impossible to answer, and some have tasks assigned "if you were unable to answer the dog food question, act like a dog and fetch a piece of wood, carrying it back to the table with your mouth." There are "classified" cards in which you act out something and then people have to guess what you were doing, or act like a stand up comedian and tell a joke - if anyone laughs you get to move ahead one and they do too. I had a card where I had to repeat a square dance chant three times in my "best western twang" which included the lines, "Swing your partner round and round, put 'em in the toilet, flush 'em down" - if anyone danced, we both got to move ahead. Overall this was an absolutely hysterical game, but should be played with older kids. We had one player who was 12 and wasn't really able to participate as well. He did have fun though, so I guess that's the point. It really helps the game move along if you can get everyone to listen and not be talking when it's not their turn. If everyone is busy talking and doing their own thing the game kind of drags along.

Very entertaining game!
I bought this game for my 25 year old daughter who loves board games/party games. We played it as a family when both of my 20 somethings were home for the holidays. As my daughter read the instrcutions , she commented that her quiet, reserved father probably wouldn't enjoy this game. He had a blast and rose to the occasion! There is always the option (without giving too much away), of opting out of the "task" and losing points if you aren't "game" to embarasss yourself a little bit!

It looks like a great party game as well as for young adults!
