Terrific game all ages
Hubby & I learned this game a couple of weeks ago, and have been honing our strategy since. We taught it to our parents on a recent visit (they're all in their 80s) and they enjoyed it, too. It was a terrific way to spend low-stress, fun-filled, time across the generations. Each evening, someone would suggest we play - and sometimes we had time for two games. Our grandson is almost 4 and we plan to play a version with him next visit, too. He can match shapes and colors and we'll just make up some new rules.
If I were to design this game, I would suggest stronger contrast in the colors (red & orange look alike in dimmer lights). I plan to add a black DOT to the center of all the red tiles so that we're always sure. Perhaps the next of Quirkle can be "high contrast edition."3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

Quirkle game
Got this game in time for family gathering for Christmas. Our grandchildren are still a bit young for it but as adults with our children we gave it a try. Took us a while to get the hang of it but anticipate it to be a good game for the ages.
