Great learning game.
My four-year old got this game for Christmas and was not excited about it. Two weeks after Christmas I talked him into opening it and playing it with me. As we punched out the peices he kept saying 'This doesn't look very fun, Mom.' By the time we were done playing he was asking for more! He had so much fun making sentences like 'The furry little banana jumped over a firefighter.' He even called his dad at work to 'read' the sentences he created! AND, he was saying things like 'I need a period.' and 'I need a describing word.' This is a child who loves books but otherwise is pretty much anti-academics. If it isn't Imaginext, Rescue Heroes or Legos it doesn't usually hold his attention! My only complaint is that there isn't a second edition to this game!

It's fun to be silly
My four year old loves to make up silly sentences or a list of silly words that rhyme. He loves this game because it gives him the opportunity to write stories using these silly sentences. He has a 2 year old sister and he likes to make her laugh by telling her stories. He makes me laugh because he likes to mix up the nouns to make funny stories. I look forward to usin gthis when my daughter gets a little older.

Silly Sentences
Great way to introduce sentence structure. My home-schooled grandson enjoys this game.

Outstanding silly game
My 6 year old was falling behind and just reading wasn't helping. We played the game and had a blast especially with the picture words.

Fun & Educational!!
I bought this for my first grandchild when he was young. He had a great time and it helped him develop a deep love of language. I just purchased it for another grandchild who is turning 5. He already loves a good joke or silly sentences! This should be right up his alley! I highly recommend it!!

Highly Recommended for small group or individuals
I wish the pieces were bigger. They are not big enough to use as a classroom project together.

Great for reluctant readers!
My son is a summer baby starting 1st grade and does not see the need to learn to read yet. I am constantly on the lookout for fun ways to "sneak" reading activities in. He is extremely competitive so he loves to play this and see who has the funniest sentence. I can see that this will also serve a purpose soon when he is learning parts of speech.
