Thirty dollar flashlight
The only way you would be able to see the night sky and names clearly is if your child had a very small room, which happened to contain a six foot high pedestal in the center for the planetarium. The meteor maker is just another little flashlight, which requires a lot of imagination to see a meteor.

Not so Great!
The box looks nice and then you open it up and shock. It looks like a flash light with a big ball on the end. It did not work ver well. The CD was easy to understand but the Wand you had to hold a foot from the cealing to see any thing. We put blankets over the windows and it was still hard to see in the pitch black. Could not even use the base, or we could not see it. I would spend the extra cash on a nice one if you want your kids to get into it. My 8 year old loved it, my 5 year old not so much. They didnt care that you had to hold it up cloce to the ceiling they still liked trying to find the big dipper and the lion and Oryan.

Garbage
This was by far my worst online purchase ever! Some products you should try before you buy and this is one. Very poor performance. My wife laughed at me.

Fantastic toy
Not only does this toy work great, it also looks really cool in my kids room. It doesn't get much better than this for under 30 dollars.

Shooting for the stars
Awesome Toy!! I have played with the star theater many times and remain fascinated by the night sky projected on our ceilings. This has definitely sparked an interest in space in our family.

Mom with two boys
you do need to be in a relatively darkened, confined space to actually see the projections, however it is great value for the price. My kids got a clearer picture of the night sky using the audio cd that comes with the star theater.
