TransenDancExpanded by Michael Benard Beckwith is an encouraging

TransenDancExpanded by Michael Benard Beckwith is an encouraging and inspirational book that renews the spirit of those readers that need it and confirms and encourages those to remain on their spiritual path that are already on the journey. The book comes with a wonderful CD filled with Michael Beckwith’s music. Both the message of this book and the music creates a spiritual dance between the reader/listener and the higher power of the Universe.
Michael Beckwith makes a very interesting point in this book. Life events often hinder us and then block our spiritual stream. He states that the Latin core word of ‘interest’ means “to love.” If you pursue God from this type of interest you will then learn to love and fall in love with God.
I found that point so inspiring and true when thinking of interests I’ve pursued in the past. When I was truly interested in learning about something it became my passion and I lived and breathed it. Isn’t that how our relationship should be with God? Not just paying lip service but love living it? After reading this book you may want to dance through your life too because you’ll find you are now participating fully in the celebration of your relationship with the universe and your place in it.
This book is divided in nine chapters that will inspire the reader in their spiritual journey. So many wonderful points are made in this book that will really cause deep thought and recognition to our roles we should be playing while on Earth.
Attitude is everything and being aware of what God is doing in our lives and the value we can offer to other people’s lives make everyone’s life a living paradise. Some feel they have to die before reaching heaven but we can create heaven on Earth if we all work and flow with the Holy Spirit and perform our roles that we came to fulfill.
The music and lyrics on the CD is uplifting and the words and tune are memorable and I often find I’m encouraging myself by singing some of the songs to myself and stopping the mental chatter of what is wrong and what is not complete and opening myself to the value I contain and is needed in this world as my service to God. We all have value and this book helps the reader realize they are already on their path to find their value and service. We all have many opportunities that are open for the taking as soon as we focus and begin the journey of showing love.
Self love and appreciation is the beginning of the path to find God’s love because when we start realizing and appreciating ourselves and what we have to offer then we can then begin to understand and see the love that God has for us.
I received this book to review from Hayhouse in exchange for an honest review.

TranscenDance Expanded by Michael Bernard Beckwith This book

TranscenDance Expanded by Michael Bernard Beckwith

This book is a compilation of complete transcriptions of nine Beckwith wisdom talks and a CD inspired by those talks. Celebration and adventure are running themes throughout this highly spiritual book and CD. Beckwith is very adept at expressing and sharing his excitement about our potential for greatness through awakening.  He emphasizes the fun and joy in discovering our true nature. The music and lyrics on the CD also demonstrate these same qualities. I personally found the ongoing mention of creativity and love as pathways to self-knowledge and growth most inspiring. I also thoroughly enjoyed hearing his voice and words set to dance music. I would recommend this set to just about anyone. I would definitely suggest listening to the CD a few times before deciding if it is for you or not. I found I enjoyed it most after listening to it three times. This could be that as a society we are not exposed to as many spiritual messages as perhaps we should be, especially through a medium such as dance music. I look forward to listening more of his songs and sermons. I hope this CD is just the beginning of much more music to come.

I was not financially compensated for this post. I received the book from Hay House for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience.
