Transformers Book an Effective Bridge Between Two Movies

Having read Foster's previous prequel to and novelization of the first Transformers film I didn't have very high expectations for this book. The previous books seemed stiff and forced. Foster's style is much more loose in this book. I have to assume that Foster has seen the previous Transformers movie. As a result, the characters in this book seem much more like the way they are portrayed in the movie. Ironhide is especially fun in this novel and has some great dialogue and one liners. I read this book in a few hours over several days. It read like a graphic novel and could have been a movie by itself. By no means is this a thought provoking book nor will it stand in the company of other high literature but let's face it. If you are reading a book about transforming alien robots kicking the chips out of each other and seeking some kind of enlightenment you're looking in the wrong place. Enjoy it for what it is.

    Great Read

Loved the plot. It's a bit darker than the first movie and its prequel, but there's also alot of humor to counterbalance it. I loved the friendship between Lennox and Epps and the Autobots. It has me thouroughly excited for the new movie. I recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the first movie.

    Highway

A large highway stretched through the landscape here, with a car or two every so often. ~ Ralana

    Interesting Plot

The plot itself is good, but doesn't really tie in as much to the "Rise of the Fallen". However, any Transformer's fan will enjoy this book.
