The Beast Wars Hit Critical Mass....

As said in the description, it follows shortly after the events of The Gathering. This arc features more of the Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo characters and some of the Botcon Exclusives. If you've read the Sourcebook you'll know what you need to know about them beforehand. This book changes an event from the end of the Beast Wars Neo series to fit better with the unified Beast Wars universe. I read the original ending for Neo online, and I prefer THIS much more. Without being too specific, the end of this one plants seeds for a very unprecedented and controversial event after Beast Wars. Don Figueroa only worked on issues #1-3 and the cover of #4 in here, but Guido Guidi does a good job on #4. I can't really tell much of a difference for the most part between their styles. The last two pages of must be seen to believe. Fortunately, a third mini series is being planned by IDW and Simon Furman is still onboard as writer. I'm confident that he can write and deliver what inevitably needs to happen next with style, bridge a key unknown gap in Transformer history. I've read this in conjunction with the Sourcebook and Gathering multiple times now, and they get better each time the flow is very smooth between these three books and the core show. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
