TRIUMPH is a fun romantic suspense story with just the right amount of romantic tension and intrigue without the unnecessary sex and violence that some books seem to need. Kelly Johns is a beautiful Atlantic TV broadcaster who has found herself deep in the middle of a sensitive story that might cause her to loose her life. Deke Bannon is a federal criminal investigator who is easy on the eyes too.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
When Kelly and her crew are filming a set up story in an old abandoned building, shots are fired, just barley missing Kelly . Deke pushes her behind a piling, saving her life---and they meet. As they both presume their duties, they find themselves working together to find the murders. And they also find that these murders are connected to a much larger money laundering ring, involving the countries rich and famous.
I found this book to be a fun, light read with just the right amount of romance and intrigue to keep me wanting to read more and more. I really enjoyed the writing style and descriptions. Unfortunately, Janet Daily died at age, 69, just this past December 2013, but she's left behind a huge body of work. Included, is the first two stories of this trilogy-- TRUST and HONOR---both of which are going to be added to my TBR list.
