    Loved this series

Whenever I tell anyone where my love of mysteries began, I always say, Agatha Christie. But the truth is, the Trixie Belden series started it all. I began reading these books when I was 11 or 12 and loved everything about them. I'm 55 now, and plan on re-reading all of these book all over again. It'll be great to re-live my childhood. Great escapism.

Nof only fun to read, but educational too!

I LOVED these books growing up. I started collecting them in the 4th grade and couldn't wait for each one to hit the bookstores- I saved my allowances to buy them. Now I can't wait to introduce them to my daughter. Unfortunately, I can't find my books anywhere! Now I have to purchase them all over again. Thank goodness they are back in print. I learned so many vocabulary words reading these books. I remember learning what 'botulism' is and 'spelunking'. These books really introduced me to a life-long love of reading!

    Great for the family

I read these in the fourth grade, in the 60's. My whole family(4 boys, 2 girls) got hooked on them and bought 20+ in the series as they came out. My teacher read 2 aloud and the class begged for more- she said, 'Read them for yourself.' These first three books tell how the Bobwhite Club gets started. Boys and girls are real(sibling fights, etc.) through everything and the families are involved.
