    Fantastic Read

They could save each other. The key to their survival is trust. But with so much deceit and so many lies, how could Max trust Lucas, and vice versa? Well, being on the run together, staying ahead of the bullets and killers is enough to force two strangers to put their trust in one another. No one said it would be easy.

All Max wanted was a place to hide out. Who would have thought Sexy and Dangerous would walk through the doors of her friend's shop, one right after the other? The running begins yet again. Can the mysterious and elusive Lucas really be trusted? Is he one of the good guys or not? It's hard to guess right away. The reader is taken on a wild goose chase from nearly the beginning, with the villains right on their heels. The storyline revolves around a murder of a woman Max and Lucas both have connections to, and both want to find the truth of why she was killed. The evidence points to Max. Was she framed? Does Lucas honestly believe she killed his partner?

With just the right amount of backstory to keep up the heightened suspense of what's going on, Ms Somers creates a thrill of a journey with Max and Lucas. Just when you think to slow down and catch a breath, the character's are whisked away once again, Questions arise when Lucas reveals his identity and the real reason for finding Max. The two fight their immense attraction to each other, both knowing that it's not a good idea. The author has created such dynamic, believable characters that you can't help but root for.

With a whirlwind of events, this suspenseful story was completely engaging and filled with edge of your seat action and romance. Romantic suspense fans, don't miss this one! If you enjoy a story about a woman on the run, a man who wants only the truth and stops at nothing to get it, sizzling sexual tension, then trust me, this book is for you.
