Pathetic
If you are interested in the real story you should read "The End of Normal" by Stephanie Madoff Mack.

Disappointing
I thought it was sad and unnecessary to put down the brother who committed suicide while putting Catherine and Andrew on a pedestal.

Terrible book written by terrible people
Do not read this book and help Catherine, Andy, or Ruth make a single penny. You are all to blame for losing Mark. Andy you are weak, Ruth you are spineless, and Catherine you are a family member wanna-be. Pathetic.

Just never know
Yes people love to imagine the wealthy, glamorous life but at what cost. I certainly feel bad about the Madoff kin but the actions and greed of their father is incomphrensible. I read Stephanie Madoff's tell all first and was quite sure I did not like how Mark was portrayed in this book but it paints a picture of a sad depressed man who did way worse to his own family and children then Bernie ever did. Bernie was selfish and greedy but at least he owned up and did not leave his family without a father. Suicide is the MOST ultimate selfish act one can committ. He had no right to do that...way worse than his father....like Andrew stated money can always be made. Too have such problems. People have had it way worse than Mark. Just my opinion.

Enjoyed this book. Got to see both sides of the brother's story.
I enjoyed reading this book after reading "The End of Normal." I was able to see both sides of the two brother's points of view. Well written book and I would highly recommend it.

Terrible
This book is such a trashy read. It is so poorly written. Such a disappointment after reading Stephanie Maddof's book which was honest, sincere and truky moving

I loved the book
I was interested in hearing the other side of the story and believe it to be the truth. I recommend others to read it as well.

Highly recommended
Filled with lies, deceit, and sorrow. What a tragedy for the family, friends and all those who invested with Madoff. I do have a different outlook towards the Mother and son.

Fast read.
I was anxious to pick up this book when I heard it was coming out. It was a fast read and I read it in two days. I was glad to finally read what Andrew, Catherine Hooper and Ruth had to say after reading all the tabloids. I think the focus on Catherine was to show the viewpoint from an outsider looking in. I found the parts about Andrew, Mark, Ruth, and Bernie to be interesting.
