The end is so cleverly plotted. Didn 't see it coming. I even went back and reread passages to find the authors clues. So nice! I didnt want the story to end.

I enjoyed reading this novel, as it kept me interested and desiring to know what would happen next. However, I could not get past the simple fact that Trey HAD to be Will's father. If Trey wanted John to believe it b/c he would be around for him and Trey knew he must have been the father, I would have liked Trey to have acknowledged it. Biologically, according to John's description of the incident, he was not the father! Some other minor events in the story bugged me, as well. I know life is messy, but some things need to make sense! In the end, it is hard for me to move past them.

    Terrible.

I rarely write reviews but just had to this time in the hopes of saving someone twelve bucks.
It's been a long time since I've read a book this bad. I really struggled with the sluggish and plodding plot line and eventually gave up half way through a book. I've never stopped a book 1/2 way through before.
The characters are simple and predictable, which creates a pretty boring story across the board. The twist in the plot was so incredibly unbelievable, it just didn't fit in- it made me feel like the author was pulling tricks out of a hat to keep me engaged. It also greatly increased my dislike of the main characters and antagonists of the tale, which was the opposite intended effect of the previous chapters. But more than anything I just stopped caring about what happened to them and couldn't bring myself to finish the story.
I feel badly being so negative about a book, but it felt like pages and pages of indulgent "Go get 'em, Tiger!"'s- when it could have been delving into some major character development instead.

    Boo

May have been a good book, but these rude, inconsiderate plot spoilers ruined it by revealing every detail of the story. Bn, u need to do something to these ppl. Isnt it against the terms of service for posters to reveal plot spoilers in a book review???? They cost book sales because i wont buy a book when they reveal the entire storyline. They should be fined and banned.
