    Great Read!

The Turning Point of Lila Louise is a powerfully enthused Christian Fiction debut novel by Lorita Kelsey Childress. The protagonist is Lila Louise, a prominent and distinguished dermatologist with a controlling personality that grates the nerves of many she encounters. Her abrasive personality is the least of her worries because she is accused of murdering her lover and suffers from amnesia concerning the event. With time ticking and her friends becoming more of her enemies, Lila is forced to procure the services of the handsome, Alexander Xavier.
Alexander is the Ying to Lila's Yang because he provides the stability and reasoning she needs to survive throughout the pulse-racing events that can either exonerate or imprison her. Steadfast in his Christian beliefs, he penetrates Lila's hard shell as they search for the key to her freedom-both figuratively and literally. His strong religious beliefs are nurturing to Lila's own fragile faith; which helps in the restoration of her Christianity.
The overall swiftness of events gives the audience the feel of being involved in the lives of the characters. The author focuses on sharp characterizations and imagery that propels the novel to its completeness.
As the story unfolds, the reader sees the transformation of Lila's self-serving character from pompous to forgiving and growing steadily in her faith.
This tender tale delves into the psyche of Lila as she experiences heartache and revisits her painful past while exploring a possible future with her former lover, lawyer and best friend. They both find unconditional love within each other, themselves and their faith.
