This series is amazing!! I learned about it by reading only 4 pages over my friend's sister's shoulder, and I was hooked right away! The way the author describes what is happening makes it feel alive, and right in front of me! The idea for the story is great too. There are only two bad things about this series: 1) we have to wait for the last book to come out, and 2) there is a last book! I wish Auntie Heather would keep writing them! Oh well, I guess the world will have to settle for only five "The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod" books.

    School Year Plot Lines

I really enjoyed the entire series and this book wasn't a disappointment. My only real issue is this series runs on school year calendars - Something dramatic happens at the beginning of the school year, then somewhere around Christmas break something else happens and then the bad guys disappear for a few months and the climax happens at the end of school. Just doesn't seem realistic. But I have that issue with Harry Potter and other series. I really liked the story though and Vlad was cool.

    CHECK IT OUT

Reading the other Vladimir Tod books, i coudln't wait till this one came out. Beggin my mom to buy me this book, i finally got it. This serise is the very first i've finished all the way through. Once you start, its goin to be hard to stop. At the end of every chapter you know that theres going to be something new in the next one. This book is great for young adults that dont like vampire love storys like twighlight. Vlad shows the cooler side of vampires.

    more from this reviewer

    Not interesting.

I loved the entire series, but this one was hard to read. After the first three chapters I stopped reading, because it just didn't catch me. Of course, I skipped around. Some of the parts were shocking and sad. But, I might try and go back read it just because the first four books were AWESOME!

    A definite page turner!

The book takes some unusual twists and turns in the plot. There is also a surprise ending. It keeps you engaged and looking forward to the next page all the way to the end.
