Excellent novel...until the end
This novel reads wonderfully, with great discourse on the declining role of a 'Boy Scout' officer in South America. This novel works well, except for what feels like a rushed ending. Do not become too attached to any charcter in this book, or you will find yourself cursing LtCol Peters. Reading this book (and LtCol Peters biography) one is forced to wonder how much of this is autobiographic. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
