Serious disappointment after Tangled. The only saving grace for this book was the epilogue. This book was such a disappoint after having read Tangled. I did not enjoy Kate's POV at all. I was on the fence about Kate when I read Tangled, but after having read this book, I know for a fact that she makes the most idiotic decisions, which then lead Drew to overreact, which he always does, and then the entire story turns into him needing to apologize to Kate when Kate never atones for her part in causing the entire "misunderstanding!!" What 28 year who has been in a relationship for 2 years behaves the way she does in this situation? The lying and not being upfront led to a huge fallout that could have been avoided if Kate had been truthful. It is not all on Drew, although his response is always over-the-top, but Kate's behavior always makes him feel insecure, and then he lashes out. This is not to say that I was not horrified at his treatment of her, but it never even had to get there if Kate didn't decide what she decided about her boyfriend of 2 years, who loves her more than anything!!! These 2 are in a relationship for 2 years and yet there is no trust!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
I also have to say that the whole Billy friendship thing is annoying. Seriously, I can totally understand Drew not wanting Kate to remain friends with Billy, her ex-fiancé. Kate would not appreciate it if the roles were reversed. When does Kate begin to take Drew's feelings into consideration when it comes to this matter? Kate's friendship with Billy does not equate with Drew's friendship with Steven and Matthew. Big Difference!!
I also do not care for Dee Dee at all!! I do not like her over the top behavior, name calling, and all of the hitting on Drew is too much. This behavior would not even be found remotely funny if Drew was knocking on Dee Dee. It is not funny. I am tired of reading about the super over-the-top BFF in books. I'm not even sure how I will make it through Tamed since it's about Dee Dee and Mathew, which is also bizarre, since we already know they are married. Thank goodness I do love Matthew.
Overall, I found this book to be very boring and a huge let down after Tangled. I really could have done without the Kate and Billy trip down memory lane. I found myself skimming huge chunks of this book. The "misunderstanding" went on for way too long and was just not very believable after what they went through in Tangled, and the book was seriously missing Drew for most of it. Kate's decision-making process was very odd and extremely annoying, and she freaking drove me crazy in this book.

I have to say my overall feeling of this book was disappointed! I was so looking forward to this sequel and i hate that it was written from kate's pov. I found that i didn't even really like her by the end of the book. The best part about the first book was the laugh out loud humor. I didn't laugh of loud once while reading this book. I could've moved past the over the top "misunderstandings" if it had at least been funny. Sorry to say, it was a huge let down for me!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
