    A Captivating Testimony

Provides wonderful insight about a small-town soldier and how his Chrisitian faith is refined and strenghtened amidst the battlefields of the world and in his mind.

    A Great Read!

Two Wars is superbly written and easy to connect with especially if you've served in the military. Captain Self brilliantly captures your attention and makes you feel as if you're experiencing his trial and tribulations first-hand. I could not put the book down! If you have served in the military, or love our country and believe in the power of God then this book is for you.

This is a soul searching account of war, one that looks behind the macho facades of so many other books like it. Nate Self bares his soul and gives a powerful glimpse into the thoughts of real soldiers. It was tough to read because you wanted it to end so differently. But the struggle of faith he describes is something all of us will face in our darkest moments.

An incredible book! One of the best I have read in a long time! (I have read over 150 this year so far!) It is so good I have been recommending it to everyone! I have it in pdf format and my 17yr old is reading it right now but I will one day own a hard copy for our home! This book is a keeper to reread over and over! Thank You Nate for opening up your heart and soul!

    Worth the time

Great book, really enjoyed the perspectives of others at the end of the book. Good to see a true account of life after war.

    Excellent book!

This e-book was offered free for a short time. I had just purchased my Nook Color so I decided to try it. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It was so descriptive that I felt like I was there with the author. I liked how open and honest it felt. I thought it was an excellent book and I am buying a hard cover copy for my dad for Father's Day.
