An OK read about incredible men
The HAL 3 Seawolves were the most decorated Navy Squadron in history. This book gives an OK accounting of their activities, but I was left wanting something more. I have no doubt the author knew these men and these missions, but again, I wanted something more. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This was the first book I have read about war in the Delta, and from that persoective it provided me an idea of that war.
The genesis of this squadron is an interesting story that could have had more time spent on it.
The sailors and pilots of HAL-3 were an incredible group of men. They did more with less, and they saved many, many lives. I believe there are 44 names on The Wall, and I think Kelly could have done more, or discussed more about all the men who served in HAL-3. They were and are still extraordinary men!
