My Favorite Bread Cookbook (So Far...)!

This book is great for novice bread bakers. The step-by-step instructions are very easy to follow. There are excellent and beautiful photographs throughout (as is standard in DK books), and all of the mysterious bread terms are well-explained and demonstrated. I've not yet baked a bad loaf from a recipe in this book, and I've had it for over 5 years! Two favorite recipes are Mantovana (p. 114) and Focaccia Con Olive (p. 107), but I'm half-Italian, so maybe I'm biased toward Italian breads!

    Outstanding!

I love this book! I bought this book one day, never making bread before. It has an easy step by step guide to baking wonderful breads. My friends and family were so proud. This book has beautiful illustrations and historical tidbits on each bread which I enjoyed.
