Good book. But...
Imbrogno is a talented author. and when he stays on topic he is invaluable to the field of UFOlogy. His reports are clear and well documented and his tracking of the Hudson Valley sightings is a classic of the genre. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. But.. Every now and then he spins out of his "Reporting" mode and into a different mode altogether. One will be reading along and then get a story about how a contactee psychically channeled a message that listed the author as a "Ascended one" who must do battle with an ancient enemy. And that type of thing kind of devalues his other, more grounded stuff.
I don't want to call him a liar - he is probably simply reporting what he has found and as such might be reporting things filtered a bit by his witnesses. I mean, UFO's is a field in which second hand reports get related thirdhand by authors. But still... I wish that perhaps the author would refrain from his more speculative and fantasy based things. It doesn't help him all that much.
