This is like being in Rahab's footsteps... Amazing!

Although a work of fiction, it is first and foremost based on the Bible - so people, events, times, places,... all true. Her description in this book of the walls of Jerico coming down brought me to tears. I had visible chill bumps as I felt I was standing there with Rahab and her family. I would recommend this book - this series of books to any Christian woman looking for a great read!

This is a great book series!

These books are quick and easy to read but so inspiring, you will take a great story and message from these short books! Rahab is a harlot who works for the king and helps Israel spies and ends up being saved when Jerico was over taken by them. She marries one of the spies who she saves. She puts all of her trust in God to protect her and direct her. This is a good book. The way she begins to live her life is her past and God is her future. She trusts in him. You will enjoy this book!

    This book disappointed me...

I just recently read this book, hoping it would be as good as 'Unveiled', the first book in the series. However, I was very disappointed. Though I loved River's writing style, and it was hard to put down, I felt as if Rahab was portrayed too pushy and harsh. She just wasn't kind to her friends, and she was extremely harsh towards her family! There was only a few sequences when Rahab switched to being friendly and being kind, and that's when she was talking to the spies. Though I loved the way Rahab had a lot of faith and loyalty towards God, I still felt as if she was made a little bit too mean. I strongly think that 'Unveiled' was better.

    Horrible

Francine Rivers is one of my favorite writers... stories such as Redeeming Love and A Voice in the Wind have changed my life, but I was sorely disappointed in this book. It seemed as though she rushed through the book without putting any real effert into it. I wasn't even a millionth as good as her other books!!!

    CAPTIVATING

I have read the mark of the lion series, the atonement child, and redeeming love. All of her books so far have been so interesting I just can't put it down. Usually I don't like reading but I love reading her books!

Another excellent story about about Faith

This is book #2 in this series. An excellent read that you WILL NOT WANT to put down. Francine Rivers takes a person and period from the bible and fills in the details and creates a whole story from a few passages. Her ability to fill in the blanks and make it meaningful for today's life is truly a gift. The study guide at the end is useful for the second time through the book and to take the message and analyze it and seek the life application within in. Well Done!! I am eagerly awaiting Books 3-5!!
