Great books in three part series.

I knew nothing of Pullman. Never even thought about someone who invented the famous railway cars. At first I thought Pullman, the town, was fiction. So looked it up on line. I was surprised to discover that not only was it real, but remains as tourist site. These novels are a real trip back in time as the labor union strive to help workers earn a living wage. The treatment by the wealthy business owners such as Mr Pullman and Mr. Macy are eye opening. Good fictional story of the characters in the book make this three book series something to spend you time with. And you may even want to make a trip to Pullman in Chicago for a trip into the past. Christian theme.

    Excellent historical novel!

Love the series written by Judith Miller. She competently captures the historical details that make the book believable. The story comes to life and you anguish, laugh, and cheer right along with the characters. Would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys historical details in their reading.
