    Great continuation of series

I love this series; believable and likeable characters, quick pace, hot scenes. The characters struggled less with one another, but the back story made it work. About 165 pages.

I must admit that I love Lauren Dane's writing style. I really like the shifter world that she has developed and writes about. This story is about Josh an Enforcer for the Cascadia Pack and the high school sweetheart, Michelle, he left behind when he was turned into a wolf. Michelle (a cop and a witch) is searching for her missing friend and goes to the Cascadia Pack for help, where she runs into Josh again. This story picked up story threads from the de la Vega Cats series and the Bound by Magick series. You do not need to read any of these other books to follow the story line as Ms. Dane does a good job of setting forth the background and explaining what has happened. Anyway the reuniting of Michelle and Josh was special and although there are some rocky spots in the romance. This book left room for more in this series and the others to tie in together. I can't wait for the next installment.

Michelle was a tough little witch and cop. Even going through so much turmoil she manages to pull it together to do her job even when her boss doesn't want to let her. She finds it hard to resist her high school sweetheart after finding out the real reason he disappeared years ago, especially when he makes it apparent he will do anything to help.
Josh sees Michelle again after years and all his old feelings come rushing back. His wolf wants her too. He'll do anything to help her solve her case, but he wants her for himself as well.
Aikio, I'm looking forward to his book... just sayin... hot hot hot.
Lauren Dane writes characters I love, who can get to know as the story goes on.

    Good Read

This was an okay continuation of the series. Although it didn't pull me in as quickly as the others did. Started out too slow but it got better. Akio needs his on book!

163 pages. Michelle's & Josh's story was good. My only complaint is I could have done without Josh and Akio kissing during the tri bond, not into m/m.

Lauren Dane has created this complete paranormal ecosystem that exists parallel with our world but it set apart with magick.  These are really compelling and if you're from the pacific northwest, has lots of familiar easter eggs.
