This is the first Reckless Kelly album I've bought, and it's awesome. They definetely put the rock into "country-rock," but they never loose sight of the "country" part of the equation either; something very few country-rock bands can do successfully. However, these guys don't just rock out just for the sake of rocking out. Many of their songs have lyrical depth, such as "Nobody's Girl." An album that's a definite country-rocker, not to mention great lyrics, Reckless Kelly is a must have.

Stop browsing and buy this CD!

It was a freezing February night in Key West. I was tearing around on my bike at about midnight, after having been stood up by my date. I stopped into the famed Hogs Breath saloon and stumbled onto the Braun brothers and Jay Nazz playing to some devoted followers (and if you check out their message board you will see that their fans are ardent) and a late night crowd braving the cold. Wow! These guys are wonderful! I listened to the CD all the way home and am contemplating a trip to Austin...hehe. Come on guys, come to New England, we need you here!

Reckless Kelly has finally put out the album that their fans have waiting for over the years. This is their best effort to date, and it can be attributed to the top notch production that Ray Kennedy brings to the table. These guys are very talented and you should check them out.
