    Don't waste your time!

I am happy I only downloaded the sample. Don't waste your time with this book. The sample worked for 13 pages. This is an advertisement to purchase another book.

    Poorly formatted

This book actually does work but it is put together very strangely. It appears to stop allowing page turns after page 13 and to contain only a link to the publisher's website. Chapter titles seem to be linked only back to the front cover! No wonder the only other reveiwer believed it to be useless.

However, by persisting a bit and beginning to randomly select specific pages, I discovered that all the contents actually ARE hidden within the 126 pages. Further, once the actual content is reached, pages turn as normal. I wound up bookmarking the first page of each chapter and am now able to navigate well enough.

I have never quilted before and this book DOES appear to contain a few useful basics though some of the advice seems painfully obvious (e.g. Use Google to find thousands of free quilt patterns). It would probably be worth it to spring for a better (more expensive) instructional book.
