'Understanding Wood' - the title says it all. I really like this book and it is a great resource of information. A must for the truly educated woodworker.
I bought this book as a reference for my timber framing hobby. It was much better than expected. It reads a bit like a well written text book. Good charts, pictures and diagrams. Obviously written by someone with an engineering background. It is a bit pricey for 250 pages but well worth it in my opinion.

This book is exceptionally comprehensive and authoritative on the subject of wood, and yet written in layman's terms. It is a great reference source for woodworkers. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
