I really enjoyed reading this book. It contains a very unique and original universe with Mortis and Lunaterras and other supernatural creatures.
This book is a very good page-turner. It has a lot of mystery within it's plot that you just want to keep reading and reading to know all the answers.
I was very shocked by several plot twists that left me truly amazed on how well the author organized her ideas to create this wonderful universe while making everything going on work out in the end.
Secrets secrets and more secrets evolve the life of Eila Walker. After finding out that an anonymous buyer bought her deceased grandmother's old house. Eila decides to move to Cape Cod with her legal guardian, mae.
What she doesn't know is that her life is going to take a 180 degrees change when she meets MJ, Ana, Raef and his brother Kian.
If you plan to start to read this book just make sure your agenda is wide open because you won't want to put down the book once you have started it!!
I really hope this book eventually is turned into a movie!! I can easily imagine who would be cast for each character and how well all of the scenes would work in the big screen.
I can't wait to read Stormfront once it comes out on August 13th!!! This seems like a very promising series that all teenager would end up loving! :)

The story was breezy and easy . Then wham ...
This is not your average story !
! I felt alittle bit of the Salvatore brothers vibe with Raef and Kain !! Which I love !
The setting of this story made me feel like I was there !!
I need the second book!!
I didn't want it to end !! Fantastic and enjoyable !!!! Just the right amount of supernatural!

What an amazing and absorbing read! The details and descriptions from K.R. Conway blew me away and I was sucked into this book in no time. It's a really great beginning to a series. It has that classic paranormal romance feel without seeming like all of the other books. Undertow definitely stands out in the sea of YA paranormals! Was this review helpful? I really connected with these characters. They seemed authentic, and I could relate to different parts of all of them. Characters are always a big deal for me, so that was a relief! There are different layers to the characters, and I loved getting to know more and more about them as the story progressed! It definitely kept my attention!
I had no idea what to expect whenever I started Undertow. It can always be hit or miss with me and YA paranormal romance. But wow! This author absolutely blew me away. If you're a YA paranormal fan, you simply have to read Undertow!

5 HUGE stars!
Upon being gifted a million-dollar estate in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, Eila Walker and her guardian Mae uproot their lowly lives in Kansas and move to their new home. Without anyone to even thank as the auctioned estate was mysteriously purchased and placed into her name, Eila and Mae are just thankful they no longer need to work their fingers to the bone to live. Knowing no one and not much about her new home, she sets off on another new adventure as well…staring her new high school.
She makes a few friends her first day, as well as another boy that is also new to the school – who is of course model gorgeous and seemingly interested in her, much to the popular cheerleader’s chagrin. Along with her new friends MJ and Ana, and the mysterious hottie Raef O’Reilly, she feels her way through her new town and starts learning that some odd things have been happening in the Cape. Coupled with the frightening dreams of a woman’s possible death, Eila doesn’t know who she should turn to. She knows that it would just freak Mae out, but can she trust her new friends – or is there someone out to get her?
I really enjoyed this story – while of course it follows the similar lines of girl + mystery/ off limits boy = teen romance, it had a different twist that I wasn’t expecting. Eila is a little bit clueless, but she definitely is a self-sacrificing girl that is willing to do whatever is necessary to protect those she cares about, but she often gets herself into trouble as she is ignorant to the curse that plagued her family. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series to see what happens next to Eila, MJ, Ana, and Raef!

If it were at all possible, I would rate this title a 5.5! From page 1 I was swept away. I haven’t had the pleasure of reading such a unique read since ‘Scars of the Bifrost’. K.R. Conway’s way of writing first person does not limit the story, quite contrary really, it helps to move the story along in a way that anyone can follow and enjoy. Was this review helpful? I think one of the things I love most is the unique and original take on ‘Supernatural’ so different from the books now hitting the shelves. Don’t get me wrong, I still like the ‘traditional’ supes, its just nice to read something different every once in a while. Writers of this day almost always seem to fall into the comfort of writing about something we know and this is different, something we don’t know.
Funny enough, this book was so well written that I found myself hooked (dangerously so, if you count almost burning my dinner). I can honestly say with a clear conscience that there isn't a thing about this book that I didn't like. The writing style while done in first person did not deter my ability or my want to read this book. There was way too much I liked. Even some of the twists didn't register in my mind until a couple of seconds before they were revealed so kudos for that Ms. Conway.
I love every single character, good and bad. Their development was spot on! While I’m aware that there is much we have yet to discover, there is no doubt in my mind that this author spent countless hours meticulously crafting their back stories down to their favorite color and it shows in every loving key stoke.
My only negative comment if you can even call it that would be “Do you hate your readers, because making us wait till summer of 2014 is just cruel and unusual punishment?” I don’t want to have to wait so long for book 2 but I will as I’m sure many other reader will!
I received a copy of this book from the author for my honest review. I was in no way compensated for my review and all opinions are expressly my own.
