Good story, but only part of the story!

I love Gabriel & May, they are such lovable characters. This was a good begining, but so cut in half! It insults me that books are released with 240 (nook) pages, and it's not a complete story!! Don't know if its the author or publisher, but I'm anoyed that I spent $7.99 for this book! Why not give us 500/600 pages and let the book contain the whole thing?

    Not MacAlister's best work

The earlier dragon books (Aisling Grey) were very good. The story line and characters continue with this book but focus is on Silver Dragons and first-person narative switches to long-suffering May. She's not as engaging or entertaining as Aisling, hate to say doormat but much weaker character and readers may be disappointed with Gabriel, who was a good secondary character in first 4 books but not so hot as male lead. Readers should also note that this is one of those books that should end with 'to be continued...' - you'll have to buy at least one more book to find out what happens.
