I absolutely love this book, and so did my students. It has some great lessons on friendship. There is lots of dialogue that is really fun to read out loud. This book and its two sequels are my students' favorite books year after year.

Good Dog/Cat story for Young Readers

This book is about a cat and dog becoming best friends. It is good, but a little too short.

A friendship of a cat and dog

I like Upchuck and Rotten Willy because it has cats and dogs that are funny and friendly. They became friends because they needed food and got it from Lugie¿s restaurant. It was funny when the spaghetti got on their faces and paws This book should be read by kids who like to imagine cats and dogs getting along. This a really great book to read.

When The dog save's Chuck's life they become friend's and have some wild time's! I like this book because it's an exciting book about animal's and also mixes in some funny part's.

Can cats and dogs really be friends?

This is a story about how a cat and a dog can be friends. Upchuck is the cat and Rotten Willy is the dog. When Upchuck¿s friend moves away and his Katie goes to some place called College, he becomes lonely. So the only one to play with is Rotten Willy, a Rottweiler, ¿As big as a car and as black as death itself,¿ but can he trust him to be his friend and not another stupid dog wanting to bite off his head and eat him for lunch? If you want to find out, then you will have to read the book! It warmed my heart, and made me laugh. If you like books about animals and like to laugh, then this book is for you!
