This book is a MUST READ for anyone diagnosed with breast cancer. It gave me so many helpful suggestions after my diagnosis with breast cancer last year. It certainly helped me get through a difficult time in my life. I strongly recommend Uplift to anyone that who has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Money goes for Breast Cancer Research!

Ms. Delinsky, a breast cancer survivor herself and one of my favorite Author's has, with the help of MANY people sharing their 'recollections', put together a *wonderfully moving, and absorbing book* that will have you laughing, crying AND wondering about your life, your health and WHY you are here. All proceeds from this book go to an excellant cause...'Breast Cancer Research'. May I add that this book is NOT just for breast cancer survivors...it is also for friends, family, lovers and anyone who 'loves' someone who has been effected by cancer. A *MUST* read! I guess I am somewhat biased as I was fortunate enough to have had a recollection regarding my own Mother included in this very book. PLEASE...pass this on to friends and loved ones...you WON'T be sorry!

Great for women going through it.

My sister has several lines in this book she was diagnosed at age 30. In this book women give tips on how to get through the difficult times whether it be surgery or chemo.
