Arikos is a dream-hunter a race of gods who were cursed by the Zeus to longer feel any type of emotions. After centuries of searching he finally found a woman whose dreams are so vivid he could feel her emotions as his own. He comes to her in her dreams over and over till it becomes an obsession. After being told that he has spent too much type on one human and that he must leave her and move on. He finds he can't and the strangest part for him is the fact he wants more than just what he can have in his Dreams. He wants to be part of her life feel her as a human man would. So In order to become human he must make a deal with a god and no god in Olympus would dare help him so the only one who he could ask to help is Hades. As with any deal with a god there is a steep price to be paid , And the price Hades is asking is the soul of the one person In This world he covets more than anything else.

Dr. Megeara kafieri has watch most of her family searched for Atlantis and many died for the search. Her father died a laughing stock the world never believed his findings. On his death bed Mageara promised she would not let his research go to waste and would continue on he's quest to find the lost city. This promise was given half heartedly with no intentions of following though. Till she received a few items that he father left for her. They were irrefutable proof that the city was real and obtainable. Through her own need to proof her father right and the guilt of not believing him herself she set out to uncover his secrete city.

Arik fell into the voyage with Geary quite latterly. After his deal with Hades he found himself drowning Geary jumping in to save him. Now he must help Geary on her quest to uncover Atlantis to gain her trust. But the gods have other plans they refuse to allow Atlantis be found and Apollymi inadvertently released causing an apocalypse.

Arik is a bit stiff and how naïve he is of the real world is hilarious. He has a cute little boy charm and he finds more than what he thought he would in the real world. Geary is very driven a bit of a prude you know she wants Arik but she will not let down those guards wail she is awake. But my favorite is Solin he is soo funny. He sarcastic and he bring out a fun teasing personality in Arik. He tries to pretend that he doesn't care about anyone but himself but you can tell underneath it all he has a heart of gold. I hope to see more of him in the future. This was not my favorite book in the series but I must say even the slower books that are not my top favs they are still some of the better books I've read. There is not one book in this series I did not like.

Wow, what can I say about this one? It was just..bad. I actually had to struggle to read it. In fact, I would of put it down and walked away if I wasn't so worried that events in this book would have references in future books. Maybe I have just been spoiled by all the other wonderful books Sherrilyn Kenyon has written. This was definitely not in the same quality as those. I could not get into the characters or the story line, the female lead (Leta) was just to..blah, and don't even get me started on the male lead (Adrian). As I was reading, all I could think about was how I hopped his narrative would switch to anyone else's point of view. ANYONES. Adrian came across just so annoying and aggravating. Besides the lack of interesting characters, what was up with all the pop culture references. Granted, I fully understand that the Adrian character was a huge movie star, but really. It was awkward for me to read, it felt like commercial plugs in the middle of the book, strange. The best part of this book was not even related to the story, but occurred at the end as an added on present to the fans, about the Christmas celebrations of previous stories characters. If your like me and will read every book in the series just so you don't miss out on anything, go for it, but be prepared for a disappointment. However, if you are casually picking your way here and there through the series or just interested in picking this story up randomly - save your money for one of Kenyon's other books.

    Dark Hunter Series Soooo Gooood!

Kenyon is getting a little predictable, but; this author can write. I am so behind in my work, because she is soooo good! Gosh, I just finished this book and found it was worth the read. Kenyon leads you right to the next book.

In reading the reviews to see if I can skip the Dream-Hunter series (as she intertwined them with the Dark-Hunter Novels) so that I can get to the next story in the Dark-Hunter series. I found a lot of negative reviews so it left me confused :-(

So I started reading to judge for myself. Yes, you can skip them if you must, ,she is just that Good, but I'm glad I did not. This is still a part of the Dark-Hunter series . In reading them alone as a dream-hunter series well you would simply just miss out :-( of a good thing. Simply put, read them all in order it's worth it.

    I Also Recommend:

    not ok its great

when i first checked all the reviewer here most of them says negative, but i decided to read it and give my judgement myself. the story of Oneroi is a part of Ash world right so what's not like? one thing i didnt like about the story is obviously Aidan is human with saddest past of his life, was betrayed and whatsoever but i didn't like here is Ms.Sherrilyn Kenyon kept repeating what he hates most, what he despise, why he was like that now etc. i think half of the story tells how he feels about not trusting anyone anymore..but then you cannot just say "IT WAS OK" for Ms.Sherrilyn Kenyon's Novel right?!

This series is fantastic. Even though I've bought all of this series in paperbook, I'll probably go back and buy in hardcopy for keeps. I'm hooked!!!

    Lover Her Books!!

This adds a wonderful addition to the Dark Hunter series. I love it when the author ties her books together so that you can see the whole plot of things through out the whole series.

    Sherri does it again

This book was outstanding. Sherri does it again with her strong characters, witty humor and attention to detail. What I want to know is where can I get my very own demon and do they come as a pair? I hope we see him again in the future! Persoanlly, I'm eagerly awaiting the year of Acheron!
