    Wow! - Highly Recommended

Brian Lumley's Necroscope series is amazing! He takes a spy thriller, wraps it in way-out yet plausible sci-fi, takes it to a whole new level of mystery, and in each chapter gives you a power punch of WOW!

He is an extremely talented writer, and I guarantee that after the first book, you will be searching hard for the second, then the third, etc.

    Review

I have read this book and it is fantastic reading. It boggles the mind on the concept of travel outside the norm. I have suggested this book to family and friends.

I have purchased the next book and will do so for all of this series.

    sci-fi horror at its best

i still have yet to find a book by brian lumley that isnt good.
there is just the right amount of everything from action, to horror, to carnage, to mystery, and to many things your imagination would probably never be able to fathom on its own.
the only challenge i've faced in any of his books is not being a native to England. i dont always understand their slang and general mannerisms that come with their version of english. but there is always google and always being able to get the gist of it in order to enjoy his great and fantastic stories.

Anne Rice has nothing on Mr. Lumley....

Perhaps people are mesmerized by overexplanation as is the wont of Anne Rice, but if you want gripping characters, fantastic imagery, and concise writing in your vampire novels, then Brian Lumley is your author. This is an excellent follow-up to his first book Necroscope. All in all, a great read

    The Living Dead...

This book is about a vampire named Yulian Bodescu who is on the run. The Russian KGB is close on his tail and must kill him in order to protect themselves and the rest of Russia. Time is running out and the Intespers (spies) are in danger. Yulian is bloodthirsty and has great talents such as necromancy- pulling information out of the bodies of the dead. Yulian has many other intesp skills and he¿s highly dangerous. Will the KGB and all of its members catch Yulian Bodescu or will he run lose spreading terror throughout the country. Well you¿ll have to find out by reading the book. If you enjoy horror and suspense books then the entire Necroscope series is for you it¿s a combination of horror and suspense and mixed with a little bit of stomach wrenching gore. This book and all of the books in this series are awesome I would honestly recommend this book to anyone who likes vampires or suspense. This book will keep you on the edge of seat with anticipation. It will keep you guessing until the end then it still kind of leaves the end open for the next book in the series. This really is a good book for teens of all ages as well as adults. This book does contain gore so I don¿t recommend it to kids under the age of 13.
