Julie Hasson shows me that I too can do it myself!
Before reading this book and Julie Hasson's other masterpiece (Vegan Diner) I never considered myself to be that well-rounded of a vegan cook like my sister. Before I went vegan I could cook anything and everything fit for an omnivore (and still can since my boyfriend is one), but I was horrible at cooking for me. My boyfriend also loves trying new things and really enjoys helping me cook vegan food for the two of us, but cooking the same thing time and time again was boring for our taste buds. I'm also a lazy cook: I absolutely loathe searching for exotic ingredients and trying some new outlandish cooking technique as described by Vegetarian Times.
