Steamy Reading Material
what can I say? This novel brings Christmas earlier. It's not only sexy, sassy, and witty..., this novel is absolutely fun! There are three stories in this novel: Do You Hear What I hear?, Bah Humbug, Baby, and By Firelight. Do You Hear What I Hear--Lori Foster is really a romantic novel icon. Her writing is very sassy and I can't wait to open next page. bah Humbug, Baby-- it's kind of weird in the end, but overall the story is fun and sexy. Next day, I grab Gemma Bruce's another novel, Who Loves Ya, Baby? and wonder if it will be as steamy as this. Hee hee. And the last, By Firelight by Janice Maynard. OwhMyGawd, I read it while I was in a bus and... oops, my temperature was rising! I looked my face reflects on the mirror, just to make sure that I'm not blushed or what.

Great holiday fun!
DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR by LORI FOSTER When Osbourne ¿Ozzie¿ Decker is asked by his friend and fellow SWAT officer, Lucius Ryder, to keep an eye on Marci Churchill, twin sister of Lucius¿s new wife, Bethany, he hesitates. His hesitation stems from the uncontrollable desire he has for her. Marci turns him inside out with just a look, who knows what spending several days in close contact with her will do to him. Someone seems to be following Marci, and Lucius and Bethany won¿t leave her alone to go on their honeymoon unless she is protected. Osbourne keeps Marci close by his side, and when it turns out that she is equally attracted to him, even the cold temps outside can¿t cool them off. Marci¿s ability to ¿hear¿ animals is a blessing and a curse. There is always someone who wants to talk to her or interview her she just wants to be left alone. Osbourne always thought that Marci, despite being totally hot, was a bit of a kook, but once he witnesses first-hand her very special gift, he finds himself falling in love with her. Osbourne and Marci are a perfectly sweet couple. Both are written to be caring and tender, typical of Lori Foster, who is incredibly talented at writing characters that feel like someone you know and love, comfortably common and just a little bit flawed.***** BAH HUMBUG, BABY by GEMMA BRUCE Allison Newberry excitedly takes her sister up on her offer of the use of a mountain chalet in the Colorado Rockies town of Good Cheer for the holidays she can¿t wait to spend some down time, all alone. No family, no work, no pressure, just her and maybe a ski hunk or two. Her plan is looking good until old flame Lee Simonson shows up at her door, when it suddenly becomes obvious that they have been duped into spending the week together by their meddlesome families. This is topped off by a huge snowstorm that has them completely snowed in. Despite a rocky start, these two take up where their relationship ended a year prior, but in the back of Allison¿s mind is Lee¿s dangerous job how he could take off on a photo shoot to some drug-infested part of the world, not knowing if he would make it back. When the two walk into town a couple of days later and meet some very quirky townsfolk, reminiscent of days, no, make that years, gone by, they are filled with a loving warmth that comes with a sense of belonging. After they return to California, it becomes clear that nothing is as it seems in the town of Good Cheer. This is my first read by Gemma Bruce, but it certainly won¿t be my last. Allison and Grant are sensual, fun and well-written.***** BY FIRELIGHT by JANICE MAYNARD Madison Tierney finds herself stranded in the woods in the middle of a raging snowstorm. Sure, she wanted to avoid going home and needed some time away, but this is just too much. She sees a light in the woods and follows it, exhausting herself fighting the wind and blowing snow, and collapsing in a heap when she finally reaches the doorstep. When Grant Monroe finds a beautiful woman on the ground at his door, the first thing he does is make sure she¿s ok and begin to warm her up. After that he has to fight the strongest attraction he¿s ever had for a woman. He finds himself wanting Madison so badly that he can hardly stand it, but insists on getting to know her before acting on the attraction. Once these two finally do get together, they practically combust, but as the storm lets up and they return to civilization, Madison¿s attitude cools considerably, confusing Grant, who realizes that he has fallen madly in love with her. Janice Maynard never fails to write characters that are passionate, caring, and always respectful, and Madison and Grant are no exception.***** This is a fun anthology by three very strong voices in women's fiction, you won't want to miss it.

An excellent self christmas gift
DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR By Lori Foster. Sergeant Osbourne Decker has had it bad for kooky pet psychic Marci Churchill for quite a while. Then her brother- in-law asks him to watch out for her..she is being stalked! He agrees but doesn't know how he will keep his hands to himself as he promised...well so much for the promise! Now throw a kidnapped donkey into the mix and what is a guy to do? Love her that's what and she can now be herself finally and let out her wild side that she shows only to Ozzie. When I got this I had been anticipating a funny, sexy and downright excellent story..I was NOT disappointed. It had me laughing throughout the book along with alot of sighing. Lori Foster has done it again with this great story! BAH HUMBUG, BABY by Gemma Bruce The last thing Allison Newberry wants or needs is to spend the Christmas holiday with ex-flame Lee Simonson. They broke up a year ago due to miscommunication on both sides but the heat and love is still there. Being pushed together by her sister and his brother at first infuriates these two but soon they are seeing just how right they are for each other. The surprise ending tickled me to no end. This was a wonderfully romantic and sexy story and I will definetly be reading more of Ms. Bruce's stories. BY FIRELIGHT by Janice Maynard Grant Monroe is a big, hunky, talented man. Seeking solitude in his mountain cabin around Christmas, when who should literally drop into his life but the almost frozen Madison Tierney. She has been walking for hours in a terrible snow storm being lead only by the light she see in Grants' window. The story that follows is full of teasing, humor and a very wicked game of scrabble. These two characters draw you into their story and make you fall in love with them as they do with each other. This was a great story. Again a new author for me to read!

Ho, Ho, Ho¿Christmas is Smokin¿!
Right off the bat, things heat up with Lori Foster¿s story, Do You Hear What I Hear, when Sergeant Osbourne (Ozzie) Decker is asked to watch over the slightly cracked, pet psychic Marci Churchill. A task that Ozzie isn¿t sure he can handle. He can deal just fine with hostage situations and even crazed lunatic reporters, but Marci turns him into a drooling wild man every time she¿s near. All she does is smile, and he¿s thinking of long nights of hot and steamy sex. But when a donkey goes missing from a local nativity scene, Ozzie knows just who¿s door to knock on. Somehow, she talks him into returning the animal to the rightful owners, and before he can think better of it, Ozzie finds himself inviting Marci to stay with him through the holidays. The problem isn¿t having Marci in his home, that part he rather enjoys, but the real problem is that she¿s talking to his dog! Stranger still, the dog seems to be communicating with her right back. It¿s enough to make a sane man feel like he¿s gone `round the bend. *** Oh, I love it! A passionate story, without taking the reader down the road of erotica. This story is chock-full of sexual tension, and the thrilling tug and pull between these characters never stops. Also, the gentle way Ozzie treats Marci had me wishing he were real. Besides being caught up in the Christmas spirit , I also caught myself laughing at Marci and her quirky behavior, and then the ornery part of me loved watching Ozzie attempt to resist his attraction to her. Note: Marci and Ozzie¿s story connects to ¿Bad Boys of Summer, which features Bethany, Marci¿s twin sister.______________________________In Bah Humbug, Baby, by Gemma Bruce, things get just a tad hotter. Sometimes, family can be a real pain in the neck. Especially when they decide to play matchmaker. The unfortunate victims? Advertising exec Allison Newberry and former flame Lee Simonson. Thinking she¿s doing a favor for her sister, Ally heads up to a ski resort that her sister has rented for the week. She thinks she¿s about to spend Christmas week alone in the Rockies. She figures if she gets too bored she could maybe snag herself a ski hunk to spend a few blissful hours with. No problem, right? Wrong. When she arrives at the ski lodge, she doesn¿t find it empty. Lee¿the only man she ever really loved¿is there. He¿s just as surprised to see her, too. Angry and bitter over the last Christmas they almost spent together, Lee gathers his things and storms out¿in a snow storm. Not too bright, as he ends up wrapping his SUV around a tree. Back to the chalet he goes, and right into bed with Ally. ***Poor Ally and Lee, two people too stubborn to see what¿s right in front of them. Thankfully, Christmas time can hold a bit of magic, and these two get their fair share of it. However, will it be enough to make them drop their guard and give love a second chance? Will they manage to see the mistakes they¿ve made in the past and overcome their own misunderstandings? You¿ll have to read it to see, I guess.______________________________Last, but by no means least, is By Firelight, by Janice Maynard. Mystery writer, Madison Tierney is feeling anything but merry this Christmas. But when she gets stranded with mountain man Grant Monroe in his secluded cabin, she feels her Christmas spirit¿and her temperature¿start to rise. Grant has a tantalizing secret, and what he asks Maddy to do by firelight sparks a Christmas adventure she¿ll never forget. ***Come on, who wouldn¿t swoon at the sight of a gorgeous dark-haired man? He¿s all alone in a cabin in the woods¿yum. Maddy knows a good thing when she sees it, too, and she¿s not some timid little ninny too afraid to go after the hunky mountain man. However, he¿s playing hard to get, which confuses Maddy horribly. She wants Grant and she knows he wants her, so, what¿s the problem? On the other hand, Grant wants more than a single night of passion with Maddy. He wants Maddy to drop the cynical attitude and give in to the love that

Tis the season to read this steamy romance
DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR by Lori Foster. Osbourne Decker reluctantly agrees to keep an eye on Marci Churchill while her sister and his fellow SWAT team member go on their honeymoon. Part of Osbourne sizzles with delight at the thought of spending sometime with the gorgeous Marci, the other part dreads it. She is a pet psychic who spends her time conversating with animals, just a little too kooky for Osbouurnes taste. Part of him doesn't even believe she is in need of watching out for. Soon he finds out she is being followed and vows to keep her by his side. The more time the two spend together the more Ozzie realizes Marci isn't as kooky as he once believed. She begins to open his eyes in more ways than one. DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR is a classic Lori Foster masterpiece. Lori Foster always writes heroines I can connect with. I loved Marci. She was open, honest, and an all around great character. Her blunt attraction for Ozzie has him going crazy and I loved watching their story unfold. Osbourne was a sexy hero that we can all see ourselves falling in love with. A found myself laughing at the crazy situation Marci gets herself into. Lori Foster has penned a story that makes you laugh while keeping her signature sensuality. I have been waiting for Marci's story and I can tell you it was WELL worth the wait. BAH HUMBUG BABY by Gemma Bruce. Allison Newberry is loves her career. She sometimes struggles to make time for anything else. In her opinion, she isn't as bad as her ex Lee Simonson. The man makes her body react in ways no one else can but they just can't seem to make it work. Their respective siblings decided to throw the two together without their knowledge and hope for the best. Lee and Allison aren't happy when they find out they are at the same ski lodge. Especially when they get snowed in for the weekend. Why not make the best of it and explore their still hot mutual attraction for one another? Soon the spirit of christmas and a special little town show them what is really important in life. BAH HUMBUG, BABY was a steamy read with a surprising twist thrown in. I really enjoyed witnessing the two characters re-connect and fall in love. BY FIRELIGHT by Janice Maynard Madison Tierney is trying to cope with her first holiday since her parents split. They are too busy with their new lives to be with her. She takes a trek through the mountains and becomes lost. Soon she sees a light in the distance and fights with all she has to find it. Grant Monroe is spending christmas alone in his mountain cabin to re-think the direction of his life. When he hears something outside his cabin the last thing he expects to find is a beautiful, half-frozen woman. The attraction between the two is almost instantanious and extremely strong. Grant takes the time to get to know Madison before exploring their attraction completley. He finds the new direction he wants his life to go in is straight to Madison's heart. Each time you pick up a book by Janice Maynard you are in for a steamy read that is equally sweet. BY FIRELIGHT is not exception to that rule. Though her books are always packed with passion they always pull the heart strings as well. A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS was a joy to read all the way around. I highly recommend this book.

A hot and spicey Christmas anthology
A Very Merry Christmas has three tantalizing tales to steam up your holidays. ________________________ Lori Foster¿s Do You Hear What I Hear has macho SWAT team member Osbourne Decker asked to keep an eye on his friend¿s sister in law Marci Churchill. Normally that would be no problem but Marci is a little quirky and she gets under Osbourne skin like no other woman. Marci and Osbourne though they are different types of people enjoy and embrace those differences. It was a joy to watch these two fall in love, they have a chemistry that burns up each page.. It takes a special man to except Marci and her talents. Marci has the biggest heart to show Osbourne what true love is all about. _____________________________ Bah Humbug Baby by Gemma Bruce has former lovers Allison Newberry and Lee Simonson tricked into spending the holidays together. At first they can¿t leave cause of a storm but once they decide to stay they go exploring the village. This place works magic on them and they realize that a love like theirs is rare. Though they fight their passion at first, its explosive when they give in. __________________________ Janice Maynard¿s story By Firelight tells the tale of strangers meeting during a winter storm. Grant Monroe and Maddy Tierney are majorly attracted to each other from the start. Watching them trying not to give in until they know each other better is as sweet as it is hot. Once they go give in you will need the ac back on to cool down. _________________________ A Very Merry Christmas is a perfect treat for the holiday season. Each story in this anthology will just move you and will get your blood pumping as well. I would highly recommend it.

a GREAT Christmas read
Do you hear what I hear by Lori Foster: I swear that Lori Foster only gets better ¿ and hotter - the older that she gets. I loved LUSCIOUS with Bethany Churchill and Lucius Rhyder, but A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS was a hoot to read. While Bethany and Lucius are on an extended honeymoon Lucius has asked, Osbourne Decker, one of his SWAT team members to help keep an eye on her twin sister, Marci Churchill, because someone has been following her. Osbourne dated Marci a few months ago and knows that she is a bet 'kooky' and actually has doubts about someone following her. He soon discovers that someone IS following her and as soon as they return the donkey - you'll have to read to see about this one - the best thing to do it to offer her the best place to stay and that¿s with him. Bah, Humbug Baby by Gemma Bruce Allison Newberry and Lee Simpson have been in love for a while but things just never seem to work out for them. This year his brother and her sister are sending them both to a special place where they can get away from it all and hopefully things will work out for them. After, being snowed in for a few days with nothing to do but make love, then get caught up in the spirit of the season that town provides things are looking good. Until they get home and find out something very unusual about the town that they were in. You¿ll have to read it but it¿s give you goose bumps. g This is the first story that I¿ve read by Gemma but she just went on my auto list. By Firelight by Janice Maynard: Grant Monroe doesn¿t normally spend a Christmas at his isolated mountain cabin but this year he lucky he did or he normally would not have met the woman who arrived half frozen on his front porch. After watching her parent¿s marriage break up Madison Tierney took some time to just by herself and to spend Christmas alone. But a freak snowstorm lands her in Grant¿s home. Madison is immediately drawn to Grant but he is determined that get to actually know each other before just giving into the sexual pull that he feels pulling them together. Plus he has a secret that he needs to share with her about who he is. This story was a great read in all ways. Every story just added to the mix and I can¿t wait to see what each one of them up with in the future.

Steamy Read
This anthology has stories written by Lori Foster, Gemma Bruce and Janice Maynard. I found this book to be entertaining, all three stories a great read and unique in their own way, but never forgetting the Christmas spirit....................DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR by Lori Foster - We finally get the long awaited story of Marci Churchill, who is the twin sister of Bethany from Luscious in the Bad Boys of Summer. She is a pet psychic having the ability to converse with animals. Osbourne (Ozzie) Decker is a member of the SWAT team and thinks that Marci is hot but also she does things not based on reality. The chemistry between them is hot enough to start flash fires and the sexual lure is strong. Osbourne infuriates Marci in one way with his beliefs but also makes her frenzied with need and she figures he uses sarcasm and negativity to hide his true feelings from her. Osbourne has had a bad experience with a woman in the past and now keeps everyone at bay, the mention of the 'M' word strikes terror in his heart. Even though Marci has kept her gift a secret from most people, lived with ridicule and disbelief all her life, she is always the optimistic one. Where as Osbourne is a pessimist who has had a hard time to adjust to his grandmother's death feelings which he has never divulged to anyone. Being around Marci with her openness and trust towards him, and seeing her interact with his dog soon has him rethinking his beliefs. Lori has penned an witty, fun read with just the right amount of tensions and steamy parts to make you want to keep turning the pages to the end......Oh how the mighty can fall.....................BAH HUMBUG, BABY by Gemma Bruce - Allison Newberry is executive for Newberry Advertising while Lee Simonson is a photographer of Pulitzer Prize winning photos. Both are getting away to a ski chalet for the Christmas holidays, but unbeknown to them they have been set up by their respective meddling siblings. Allison and Lee had bad break-up the previous year, and although they are soul mates, and love one another, they just cannot commit. Sexual satisfaction had never been a problem for them, but it seemed in the long run that is all they had. Being snowed in and unable to run from each other they have no alternative but to share the chalet situated in a quaint little town. There are surprising turns of events that show them what is really important in life. But be prepared to have ice around when you read this story as they scorch the pages. This is a hot, steamy read that will have surprises in store for you....................BY FIRELIGHT by Janice Maynard - Grant Monroe and his dog Van Gogh were secluded in his cabin on a mountain during a blizzard. When a noise was heard at the door, thinking it might be an animal Grant was surprised when a snow covered, half frozen body fell through the door at his feet. Madison (Maddie) Tierney thought she was going to die out there in the blizzard, but she had kept going toward the light until she had arrived at the cabin. The sexual tension is evident from the time Maddie becomes aware of her rescuer. The heat that flairs up between them keeps getting in the way of Grant's best intentions. But he does the gentlemanly thing and tries not to take advantage of her. She finds men are so judgemental, while he finds women to be overly impulsive with no regard to their well being. Maddie as an writer and can always make her characters do as she wants, but Grant is an frustrating, infuriating person who does not react the way she would like. How these two sort through everything is an adventure of its own and gives the reader an entertaining, enjoyable, hot read....................All three writers have penned hot reads, and I recommend this anthology.

Another Anthology that jingles!
Super sexy SWAT member, Osbourne Decker thinks that Marci Churchill, pet psychic, yea right¿ isn¿t that a little nutty? Has a couple of loose wires. The problem is he is also having the hardest time to keep his hands off of her! When a donkey disappears he can¿t help but wonder if Marci has anything to do with it, and that is when everything gets complicated. When they are in the same room the heat generated is enough to keep you warm on a cold winters night! All that Lee Simonson and Allison Newberry have in common is that they broke up last Christmas. At least that what they both think, until they are tricked into going to a cabin in the middle of nowhere on a bad snowstorm. Turns out that they discover that their attraction is still there and pretty soon fate interferes with the magic of Christmas to give them a second chance. When Madison Tierney makes plans with her friend to go hiking on Christmas she never though she will be spending her days with handsome, sexy Grant Monroe. When her friends leave and she decides to brave the weather, a bad storm lands her on his door. He takes one look at her and feel the magic of Christmas. This is a tender and lovely story that packs enough heat to light the fireplace! Lori Foster, Gemma Bruce & Janice Maynard join their skills in an Anthology to give their readers a special gift. Three different stories, unique as their authors make this a fabulous Christmas Romance. There¿s a lot of ingredients that will make this stories the perfect companion during the holidays, they are funny sexy and so very hot! . This is another page turner you don¿t want to miss!
